REVIEW & DIY : Adding a Heads Up Display (HUD) on my Honda!

I recently bought a ACECAR M-12 ( https://amzn.to/3dLFRcS ) Heads Up Display unit for my Honda. I always wanted a HUD so I dont need to look down at for speed.

Its large numbers is very visible at day and night time. Installing is very easy with either connection to the cars OBD2 port or it can run with GPS mode in which all it needs is a USB power. The unit is plug and play but needs to be configured for metric and English measurements. If connected to the OBD2 it will drain my 12 volt battery, thats why i prefer the USB power so it turns off when my car is off.

Overall it is pretty accurate and is able to read speed, distance, engine temperature, RPM, and other information when connected to the OBD2 port. With the GPS mode you can display direction, speed.

Update on my steering wheel cover and TPMS system. Its been over 2 years with my SHIAWASENA Steering wheel cover $16 ( https://amzn.to/2XsIEP6 ) which had a smooth surface and patterned with red stitching. It still in good condition and has not cracked yet. Tire Pressure Monitor TPMS ( https://amzn.to/2ncBVf6 )still works after 1.5 years . I cost about $30. The sensors need new CR1616 batteries every 6 months but the solar powered main unit works well.

There are other 7 cubic foot chest freezers online ( https://amzn.to/2EjN45Z ) and smaller sizes such as 3.3 cubic feet chest freezers ( https://amzn.to/3f2MztA ) for smaller spaces.

The Midea 7.0 comes with 2 freezer baskets ( https://amzn.to/3hwMDDJ ) for organization. While the Danby 7.2 comes with one and a wire divider wall. The Danby 14.5 comes with two freezer baskets. All three freezers has defroster drainage and thermostat is located in the front of the freezer.

Chest freezers are very energy efficient in keeping lots of cold. Its good for food storage especially after fishing or a large Costco run of frozen food. The size is perfect for the garage or man cave.

The Danby 14.5 cubic foot freezer is very large at roughly 60 inches wide, 29 inches deep, and 32 inches tall. The defroster is manual. Thermostat and drainage is in the front of the chest. I has an LED lamp in the freezer. This is something for a business or garage to keep a lot of food cold.

REVIEW: Pineapple Corer / Slicer Tool – Pros and Cons

So I bought a pineapple cutter slicer off of Amazon ( https://amzn.to/2Nx6gNw ) . Its only takes about 20 seconds to prepare a pineapple with this pineapple cutter.

Just chop off the top with a knife, screw cut down the center of the pineapple, and pull. I makes a 3.5 inch round sliced pineapple rings that are 1 centimeter tall! So simple and fast. Perfect for parties if you are prepping lots of pineapple drinks or want to make a pineapple cup or bowl. I store it in a plastic twist top containers ( https://amzn.to/2PO1xgn ) in the fridge.

PROS:

  1. Fast processing of pineapples! – 20 to 30 seconds
  2. Easy to clean – just rinse and dry

CONS:

  1. 3.5 inch diameter cut is good for most pineapples, but will waste larger diameter pineapples.
  2. One trick kitchen gadget – but very useful when you need it.

I eat a lot of pineapples for drinks, dessert, fried rice and love the sweetness, so this tool is very useful to me. I also use the pineapple tops to grow pineapple trees for landscape plants.
