Review : Nerf Rival Altas XVI-1200 Blaster $24

I got the Nerf Altas XVI-1200 Blaster ( https://amzn.to/3bNuiPS ) for about $20. I rarely had time to play with it until now so I am going to unbox and review it. Overall its a fun well built Nerf foam blaster. It shoots Nerf Rival foam balls very fast at about 80 feet per second! To test this I used a indoor Chronograph tool ( https://amzn.to/2UFjIEH ) to test actual speed of the blaster. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

Blaster: The blaster comes with a 12 foam ball magazine, however the Atlas It is quite heavy and noisy due to the spring and slam action to prime the spring. Load 2 balls every shot. Meaning you have about 6 shots from a full magazine. If your playing with friends you may be at a disadvantage and will have to bring a second clip. I will be modifying this blaster to shoot 1 foam ball if possible to maximize the foam balls.

Using the Chronograph, the foam balls travel at about 79 – 96 feet per second. On average its about 84 feet per second which is better than the specifications on the box. If i load 1 single foam ball, it averages closer to 86 feet per second, with a high of 96 feet per second! I will be modifying this blaster to shoot 1 foam ball to maximize the flight speed.

The Atlas is loud. Both in priming, hard plastic, and spring action. If you are planning to play after hours your roommates or friends will hear you. Overall the other Nerf Rivals blasters ( https://amzn.to/3bNws1L ) have strong springs in order to have the higher flight speed.

I found that the Altas XVI-1200 is best used as triggered from hip as the sights are pretty useless. The barrel is much lower than the sights so it better aim in the general direction. I comes with a tactical rail to add accessories I basically will just added another 12 ball clip ( https://amzn.to/2waK9Zx ) as it comes with mounts to the rail.

Overall it is very fun to play with friends indoors and outdoors. You will need more Nerf balls to The 2 ball 6 shot is a limiting factor of this other wise great Nerf blaster. I will be modifying this Atlas XVI-1200 to use single ball action, so stayed tuned.

REVIEW: ALDI – Pueblo Lindo – Premium Coconut COCO Ice Cream Bars – 6 Bars for $3

I was at Aldi supermarket today and found these Pueblo Lindo Premium Coconut COCO ice cream bars on sale. I bought a box to try out against the other coconut ice cream bars i have tasted and review before. I costs about $3 for 6 bars, however i found one of the bars were ripped open due to bad packaging or handling.

I tasted many coconut ice creams (https://amzn.to/2J422fD ) and the really good coconut bars from HELADOS MEXICO Premium Ice Cream Bars i got at Costco, i did a review of that too:

. Also the Melora Coconut Ice cream bars a few weeks ago:

.

Aldi’s Pueblo Lindo Coconut Ice Cream bar was a good treat that tasted creamy, coconut, and had bits of coconut embedded in the ice cream bar. This was way better then the Melora coconut icecream bars but not as dense as the Helados Mexico Premium Ice cream bars i normally get at Costco.

Is worth it? Yes if you dont have a place that has HELADOS MEXICO Coconut ice cream bar or a pint of premium ice cream is still better, this would be next best option at Aldi’s supermarket. Otherwise, i would go for box of Brown Sugar Boba ice cream.
Or you can try making your own:
