REVIEW: Orijen – SIX FISH – Freeze Dried – Cat Treats!

My 7+ year old outdoor cat love trying out new food and treats but gets bored of the flavors. When my vet told me that my cat needed to gain weight, my cat was initially excited to get new treats, but his excitement quickly waned and started not to eat the cat supplements and became a fussy cat. So I am trying new treats to get him eating.

I am having Winky try a sustainable freeze dried fish treats for cats made from six different fish. ORIJEN Freeze Dried Cat Treats ( https://amzn.to/3qoQIOZ ) , is grain free, natural and made of raw ingredients. Six fish is made of 6 different types of fish. and is in the shape of rectangular sticks. Winky seems to love the fishy smell and eats about 4–5 sticks before leaving. I keep a bowl of fresh water by for him to drink to hydrate.

I also mix his vitamins with his wet food in a interesting way. Costco! Comvita / Melora – Manuka Honey! $36!!!

Sweet Costco now has COMVITA  and Melora New Zealand UMF Certified Manuka honey on sale! Comvita Manuka Honey UMF 10+ (17 oz), Comvita Manuka Honey UMF 5+ in a HUGE (35 oz) and Melora Manuka Honey UMF 5+ (2.2 lb) are all priced at $36.99!   They are similarly priced at on Amazon ( http://amzn.to/2FLkQ39 )    for Comvita and  ( https://amzn.to/2tgjLZj ) for Melora. I found the Comvita brand in Northern California.  while I found the Melora brand in Southern California. Costco just restocked Melora New Zealand 10+ UMF Manuka honey on sale! The Melora Manuka Honey is 10+ UMF + (1.1 lb or 500g ) are all priced at $31.99! They are similarly priced at on Amazon ( https://amzn.to/2tgjLZj ) for Melora.

I current eat about 1 to 3 jars of Manuka honey every year and found I prefer 10+ UMF honey more as it has a good balance of rich sweet flavor, aroma, and texture. I noticed that the higher the UMF the denser the honey and flavor. 10+ was a good balance.

I bought a lot of Manuka honey over the years, most have been from Costco and Amazon. I made a taste test video prior.

Manuka UMF 5+ Taste Different! Comvita vs. Melora vs. Wedderspoon!!!

I wanted to taste test and compare Manuka honey UMF 5+ of different brands to see if its any different from each other.  So i bought 2 jars of UMF 5+   Comvita UMF5+ and Melora UMF 5+  and compared them with Wedderspoon Kfactor16 and  Comvita UMF 15+ .   I was giddy to taste over $160 worth of Manuka honey and all its pollen and golden gritty flowery taste.  Manuka is a Tea Tree Flower.

Over I still love all four types, each are have subtle differences. I love the Comvita UMF15+ for the bite.  The Comvita UMF 5+ looked dried or dehydrated rather than that of honey, which was disappointing.  The Melora UMF 5+ was like liquid gold in smoothness and texture.  The Wedderspoon was right between the Comvita UMF 15+ and Melora UMF5+ in taste and texture and smoothness.
