DIY: Replacing Serpentine Belt on 2006 – 2009 Honda Civic hybrid. Its really easy on the Honda Civic Hybrid as the belt auto tensioner is on top of the engine and easily accessible with an adjustable wrench. Tools needed, safety googles, a adjustable wrench, a new serpentine belt, and a long stick if you hands cant reach down far enough. Make sure the engine is cool and OFF when doing any of this.

If you have a Philips Norelco 4500 Aquatec electric shaver ( https://amzn.to/2qMJY0C ), it has a 12 month timer indicator for blade replacement. I usually get about 2 – 3 years from my shaver blades because i clean mine every week. I have a spare HQ8 blades and combs ( https://amzn.to/2vwc4lI ) but still use the originals from the razor. In this video I show you how to maintain, clean, and reset your Norelco 4500. If in question, follow your instruction manual or take it to a shop if you need help.
DETAIL TRIMMING: The Philips OneBlade is very precise and has two side trimmers on the top and bottom. You have to place it flat against you skin. Its only for facial hair note for body hair as the blades are too fine. Just rinse out the hair after every use.
NOSE HAIR: The Conair Men nose trimmer ( https://amzn.to/3dveTVk ) is a one of the best nose trimmers i used as it shaves in 360 and on the sides of the inserts. Very impressive. Before the Conair, i used a rounded tip safety scissors to VERY SLOWLY and CAREFULLY trim my nose hair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using the Conair Nose trimmer its safer and faster than the scissors
INGROWN HAIR: I still love using super sharp Gillette Fusion5 Men’s Razor blades ( https://amzn.to/2WDHMrv ). If you have ingrown hair and have issues with using electric razor a manual razor is a good solution. It gets expensive if you dont clean the blades after every use.

DIY: Honda PCM IDLE Relearn Procedure on a Honda Civic Hybrid After cleaning my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid throttle body, the honda service manual (http://amzn.to/2BgulRA ) tells you to reset or relearn your Honda’s idle. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.
For a normal Honda Civic, turn off every power load on your car (AC, radio, lights, etc), then turn the key to the ON position for 2 seconds, then turn on the car and rev to 3000 rpm until the engine temperature high enough that your radiator fans start or to operating temperature on your temperature gauge.
For the 2006-2009 Honda Civic Hybrid, you will need to keep the 3000 rpm to charge the IMA battery first to 100% as it will put load on the engine to charge the battery. It takes about 3-5 minutes to charge at and get the engine to running temp. Then you let the car idle for 5 minutes. It should idle at about 830 rpm with no load on the engine. Afterwards you are done! Its that simple. My Honda Civic Hybrid revs were high after the procedures as well as the Throttle body cleaning, moreover it runs more responsive than it did before the cleaning and reprogramming.
