REVIEW: Thera Care Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier

I got a Thera Care Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier ( https://amzn.to/3t9tmRF ) about 2 weeks ago for workspace as the lights and heater has been drying out my skin, nose, and eyes. This ultrasonic humidifier works well and produces a lot of vaper. This one is basic, however there are other ultrasonic humidifiers online ( https://amzn.to/3Gc5Bfr )with other features and capacities such as remote control.

REVIEW: TENS Unit Electronic Pulse Massager – 2 Years Later …

I bought this TENS Electronic Pulse Unit ( https://amzn.to/3zsoS9e ) about 2 years ago and have been using it with my family for muscle aches and tight muscles. This is my 2 year review. We bought a extra larger Reusable Replacement Electrode Patches ( https://amzn.to/2WuDF4A ) to keep them personalized per family member use. We share the use of the TENS unit.

The good thing about this TENS unit electronic pulse massagers it that they are very portable, uses 4 AAA batteries that has lasted over 1 year, and the design has not changed in over 4 years.

It has built in timers and programs for different muscle group massages. You can also change the intensity and time of the programing or set custom rates. Its easier if you have someone assist you in putting it on, however over time you can do it yourself with practice.

Its reliable and simple with 4 electronic pads using 2 pairs of cables. The reusable Electrode Patches ( https://amzn.to/2WuDF4A ) get weaker after about 2 years, as the adhesive becomes less tacky. You should always keep the patches on their plastic sheet and inside a sealed bag when in storage to prolong the life of the tacky adhesive.

Overall this TENS Electronic Pulse Unit ( https://amzn.to/3zsoS9e ) is a very good value for after workouts and tight muscles.

REVIEW: WaterPik WP-660 water flosser – POWERFUL and LOUD.

I got a WaterPik WP-660 water flosser  https://amzn.to/2UqUH2r as i needed to floss more. I have purchased a portable water flosser MOSPRO water flosser ( https://amzn.to/2UoPyYF ) and really liked it, so I purchased the WaterPik as an more powerful upgrade with a bigger water reservoir. I don’t like how dental floss frays between my teeth. I decided to try this out. I use this along with my Philips Sonic Care electric tooth brush ( https://amzn.to/2SQDCyK ).

It is easy to refill the large 600 ml reservoir and is just enough water without refilling. I also like the easy to handle water jet handle which was lighter weight and easier to move around my gums compared to MOSPRO water flosser ( https://amzn.to/2UoPyYF ). The water jet heads simply plug in to the handle. There is a release button on the side. It comes with many heads including 3 Classic, 1 Orthodontic, 1 Plaque Seeker for implants and other dental work, 1 Pik Pocket for periodontal pockets, 1 Toothbrush Tip. But overall i have been using the Classic water jet, and the rest are not used. I have my Philips Sonic Care electric tooth brush ( https://amzn.to/2SQDCyK ) for actual brushing so I dont see the need for a water powered brush. I really just need it to jet out the stuff between my teeth.

The WaterPik WP-660 water flosser  https://amzn.to/2UqUH2r has some design items I dont like. First is cleaning the hand held unit. The hand held unit gets wet and water residue will get trapped. I could imagine dirt or build up there. The cord is just about the right length how ever it pulses when you have the unit on hold. while on. The unit makes a lot of vibrating noise when on or on hold so your room mates would definitely know when you are flossing

I like the power and volume of water from this unit, because its plugged in and does not need to be charged. If you have a power outlet in your rest room this will be useful, otherwise you will need to organize and give a good deal of countspace real estate for this unit. Because it is plugged in to the wall, I am not able to use this while showering. I typically water floss while showering due to the water draining and spatter. So the waterproof and cordless rechargeable MOSPRO water flosser ( https://amzn.to/2UoPyYF ) has an advantage.

PROS:

  • Very good water and cleaning pressure to clean teeth.
  • Easy to use with big control nob dial and ON/OFF switch at the handle.
  • Light weight to use and nimble with hand held control.
  • 600 ml water reservoir is enough to do a thorough cleaning.
  • Many water jet head attachments for different cleaning applications.

CONS:

  • Noisy compared to other water flossers
  • Hard to dry or clean device.
  • Takes up counter space and adds to bathroom clutter
  • Needs wall outlet for power

Overall it cleans my teeth well and is worth it. The other water jet attachments are neat for other family who may want to share the device, however its such a personal hygiene device it may be better to have their own personally water flosser.
