Quick Costco Run update… lots of new stuff on sale like the Interstate AGM motor sports batteries. They also restocked on exercise bikes, exercise equipment, the Jetson Bolt electric bike, patio furniture, BBQ grills , gardening supplies. I picked up a some cara cara oranges and some Fever tree ginger beer.

Costco Duracell 550 Lumen 4 AAA Aluminum Flashlight 3 Pack – $14.99 (Normally $19).

My Costco just brought out the Duracell Durebeam ULTRA variable focus LED flashlight ( https://amzn.to/3peABlZ ) is 550 lumens. This Costco Find is also currently on sale with a $5 instant savings for a 3 pack for $14 versus the original $19 price.

Costco also had the has Duracell 2500 Lumen Flash Light for $19! Its a now on instant savings for $14. There are other 2500 lumen LED flash lights online: https://amzn.to/2ZaqfZO . That one uses 6 AA batteries.

The 550 lumen Duracell Ultra uses 4 AAA batteries to produce a 550 lumen light on high for 2 hours and 100 lumen light on low for 7 hours .


This new aluminum flashlight design is slightly longer then prior years at 6 inches for better grip and handling. The focus lens is variable. The power and mod button is on the bottom.

Last long term review of First Alert Smoke alarm two pack a couple of years ago: . This combo Smoke and Carbon Monoxide replaces it.

First Alert “Voice & Location Alerts” alarms https://amzn.to/3pXXvPc are currently sold in a two pack and on sale. The Voice & Location has programable voice massage for the location of the alarm, and is currently $49 for 2 pack. I will install and make a review video later.

When testing this unit, the voice and alert was not super loud, in fact its not ear piercing loud like the last smoke alarm I used. The alarm sounded like my 2008 Honda Civic horn “MEEEP” which i found hilarious. The voice alert is able to choose between several room names such as bedroom, guest room, etc. You have to set it after you turn it on or by clicking the button 5 times to reset the saved location to reprogram the unit.

My last First Alert smoke alarms lasted for about 2 out of the 10 years so I am hoping I get about 3 years from this unit.
