HOW TO add 512 GB to SAMSUNG NOTE20 ULTRA 5G

I just bought a Samsung NOTE 20 ULTRA 5g 512 GB ( https://amzn.to/2KC9AtV ) and I am going to show you how to add and extra 512 GB with a SanDisk 512GB Extreme micro SD card ( https://amzn.to/3h1dc4Q ) to it to increase its storage! I will be replacing my current 128 GB Samsung EVO MicroSD ( https://amzn.to/3nKRtk0 ) i previously installed in this phone.

The Samsung Note20 Ultra 5G is capable of adding up to 1 terabyte (TB) micro SD card. Which is very impressive. I typically buy enough extra memory to last the 2 years and replace the memory later or replace the phone with a more powerful phone. You want minimize the opening and closing of the SD card tray as it is plastic and may break if mishandled.

For high performance smartphone videos and action cameras I typically buy fast read and write memory cards. I have bought brands such as SanDisk Extreme and Samsung EVO as they have both been reliable memory manufacturers and have fast memory cards. There are different levels within each product line up that will determine the speed of write. If you are planning to do a lot of 4k video recording with your phone a SanDisk Extreme is affordable and writes at 90 MB/s and can hand most recording situations. The more affordable SanDisk Ultra ( https://amzn.to/37x3sw4 ) which are good for 1080P video recording or general storage.

You need to use the included SD tray extractor tool or a paper clip to eject the tray, place the micro SD card in and slide the tray back. You can do it when the phone is turned off or on. After installing the memory, carefully slide the tray back in to the phone. The memory card should be formatted with before use. After formatting the 512 GB memory card, I got a usable 476 GB of space from the SD card. Thats why they have the asterisk on the packaging. 😛

REVIEW: Under $50 – 31 inch Height Adjustable Sit Stand Mobile Laptop Table !

I got this GAJOO – 31 inch Mobile Mobile Laptop Table Cart new for under $50 at Amazon ( https://amzn.to/3niwo0q ). Its actually a Height Adjustable Sit Stand Mobile Laptop Desk that sturdy, but there are some pros and cons. Lets Review.

This is better than the two TV tray tables ( https://amzn.to/3oNK1Vu ) I was using to do work in. Due to the space needs of the small room the design beats TV tables or ugly plastic fold out utility tables ( https://amzn0.to/3mcy8Xx ).

Since I am at a temporary space I needed something that was sturdy but light weight and easy to assemble and build. The GAJOO comes in black ( https://amzn.to/2K2CymG ) , white ( https://amzn.to/2KeLzsJ ), and walnut https://amzn.to/3niwo0q ). I got the walnut.

The combination of a metal base and particle board wood is actually pretty sturdy. Its temporary furniture sturdy like something from Ikea. Made to probably last 1-3+ years if taken care of, but less than 1 if assembled incorrectly. The veneer has rough edges and overlap. The kit has bad instructions, especially with the inventory list of screws and tools.

However, it you take it slowly you find that its pretty easy to assemble and took me about 30 minutes after figuring out the missing screws really didnt matter. In fact there were the diagram didnt match the materials, but moving forward it worked out. Like assembling any particle board wood furniture, only tighten to snug and do not over tighten or else wood will break or puncture.

After owning it for 5 days, I found the wheeled design stable, The table is able to become a temporary sit stand desk for me and my laptop in the guest room. Adding bungee cord to the lower shelf enabled me to put loose items on it and not have it fall off.

The overall size is very compact and convenient. Overall, its worth the sub $50 price range and due to the space needs of the small room the design beats TV tables ( https://amzn.to/3oNK1Vu ) or ugly plastic fold out utility tables ( https://amzn.to/3mcy8Xx )

REVIEW: Anker SoundCore Life Q30 VS. Sony WH1000mx3 – Active Noise Canceling

I bought the Anker SoundCore Life Q30 ( https://amzn.to/2HYNWPI ) to compare against my Sony WH1000mx3 ( https://amzn.to/37qRjay ) in comfort and noise cancelling. The Soundcore Life q30 are about $70-80 while the Sony WH1000mx3 or WH1000mx4 are over $250. Is it worth it? I compare it side by side.

The SoundCore Life Q30 is very good in terms of noise cancelling, customization, and comfort. For the sub-$100 price tag, its affordable and offers the best bang for the dollar performance in noise cancelling. It has two microphones to pickup noise and filters noise during conference calls.

The ear pads are very comfortable. The metal band is visible on top and feels slightly more heavy duty than the Sony WH1000 MX3. The SoundCore Life Q30 has a transparency sound settings let you listen ambient sound. You will need the Sound Core app to unlock many advanced features of the Life Q30 including the three noise cancelling modes to remove Transport ( engine hum and low and mid tones), Indoor ( mid tones and talking), outdoor ( general noise cancelling) . I found that the Life Q30 did very well but was not able to completely block vent noise as well as the Sony WH1000mx3, however if you didn’t hear it side by side you would probably not notice it.

The sound quality is very good and clean, its slightly more bass than the Sony WH1000mx3 , but not overly annoying. You can also change the equalizer settings in the Sound Core app. Overall, it has very clean audio.

The controls were all push button except for the NFC and transparency touch switch on the right ear. The buttons were along the each side of the headphones and accessible by touch. I dont mind the push buttons and like it better than the gesture controls of my Sony as it took me several days to learn the correct gestures. But the buttons are easy to click. It also has a 3.5 mm TRS jack.

Telephone conference calls were clear as people on the other end were able to hear me clearly. They noted that the noise cancelling removed the background noise of the call. That was pretty surprising as my Sony WH1000mx3 is an open mic and every background noise is captured into the call. They did mention my voice was more choppy and high pitched than on the Sony.

Insta360 ONE R – Airpod mode works with the SoundCore Life Q30. It was able to sync and record my voice in mono to the Insta360. The sound quality was choppy and was not useable for vlogging. However its good to know it works. The Sony WH1000MX3 had clean audio going into the Insta360 ONE R.

There is also a Sleep Mode setting at has pre recorded ambient sounds of background noises (water running, rain fall, fan white noise, and others). I liked this feature a lot as it allow someone to play a soothing background sounds without having to subscribe to a music service.

Overall, I am impressed with the comfort, sound quality, noise cancelling quality, and ease of use of the SoundCore LIfe Q30. The voice recording of the call was the only drawback about the headphones as it was too tinny and sharp, and had some sound drops over bluetooth.
