I only use a 100 watt solar power panel, connected to a 12v charge controller to a 12v 60 amp hour battery and connected to a 2000 watt inverter. I needed a 2000 watt inverter to power my power tools and 600w electric pot to cook ramen.
Overall its a good test and the solar power system for my shed will be great!

HOW TO: PRIVACY SCREEN for BALCONY using Faux Ivy Privacy Screens

I got some Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP), so I can add some privacy to my balcony as well as hide the ugly white metal rails. With summer here, I wanted to clean up and get my porch and patio ready for guests!

My concrete patio looks grey. I been wanting to make it more green. In addition I wanted to cover up the white metal railings and add more privacy from my neighbors. Another benefit of adding Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP) was the added shade from the sun to reduce heat on the patio balcony.

The Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP) expanded to 4 x 8 ft panel but can also contract down. The trellis is made of wood sticks and mine had some flowers to make it look different than just green leaves.

I hung my panel with a S hook and then used the provided nylon zip ties to secure it to my railing. I am planning to get another set to place on both sides of the fence to make it denser and so it will cover the railing on both sides.

Overall Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP) is a good fast solution to add privacy to the balcony so when I have tea or exercise it its a little more private. I also enjoy the cooling effect from the shade.

HOW TO: Artificial Grass my PORCH!

With summer here, I wanted to clean up and get my porch and patio ready for guests! I wanted to convert my porch into a cooler greener hang out spot, so I got artificial grass ( https://amzn.to/3GWDItg). I used my Cordless Portable Pressure Washer ( https://amzn.to/3NlJ2Zs ) for cleaning my patio and porch.

My concrete patio looks grey. I been wanting to make it more green.
In fact I wanted artificial grass to make it look like a lawn patio. I got a 8x 5 ft roll of fake grass ( https://amzn.to/3GWDItg). If its easy to install I may just replace my front lawn with artificial grass to I don’t need to water or maintain the grass.

PROS:
Looks like real grass with yellowing under coat
Need to see if it unflattens to 1.5 inches tall

CONS
Sparse drainage holes

Overall artificial grass ( https://amzn.to/3GWDItg) is a good fast solution to cover a patio, put a lawn on an event space, or maybe DIY lawn for water savings and less maintenance costs.
