HOW TO: Paint Your Lawn GREEN!

I just moved and my lawn was dried out. I also cant water my lawn due to the drought. The next best thing was to PAINT my LAWN GREEN, so my neighbors and HOA doesn’t complain.
To have someone to change into fake grass it would be thousands, to replace with mulch would have been a lot of work, and to paint it was fast and easy. I asked for a few qoutes and came to be a few hundred, so I decided to DIY it.

I got a some lawn paint $30 ( https://amzn.to/3zxpmwB ) , a gallon pump sprayer $10 ( https://amzn.to/3nubUXt ), and a 4 gallon electric pump sprayer $90 ( https://amzn.to/3JPQg7n ). It cost less than $150. I got the electric pump sprayer as I didnt want to pump 10 gallons of lawn paint. Its much easier. It took about an hour to paint the entire 700 square foot lawn. I plan to paint it every 6 months during the dry season. $30 is a huge savings compared to the hundreds of dollars and time with water, lawn mowing, and hiring a gardener.

Overall I love it. We will see how long the green lasts.

REVIEW: Sun Shade Canopy 12 ft x16ft – Shade for Driveways and Backyards.

It was very hot these past few days and needed shade from the beating sun. I got a sun shade canopy 12 ft x16ft ( https://amzn.to/3SJRQKW) for my driveway and backyard. It was relatively easy to setup as it came with mounts on 4 corners with D rings and rope.

I like the weave of the material blocks our much of the harsh light. I have it on my drive way and my back yard to prevent sun scorch on my plants. There were multiple colors but i picked Sand color.
For mine it was too long so I decided to modify it adding an additional mount point using old jeans and my trusty sewing machine.

How To: Solar Powered Work Shed!

So I wanted to setup a my backyard shed with a solar power to run drills, saws, recharge my power tools, and boil water and cook ramen. I got a 100 watt solar panel ( https://amzn.to/3qBW1fU ) , 2000watt Inverter ( https://amzn.to/3QJLTMO ), 12v solar charge controller ( https://amzn.to/3S2bkKo ) , 12v 60amp battery ( https://amzn.to/3eKI3p7 ) , 12volt battery terminal brass ( https://amzn.to/3DrSmZN ) , electric pot ( https://amzn.to/3djc5Qz ) , solar power cable ( https://amzn.to/3qKDk9C ), and Cup of noodle Ramen ( https://amzn.to/3xq1euU ) … so I will mount it later this is more of a test the concept.

I only use a 100 watt solar power panel, connected to a 12v charge controller to a 12v 60 amp hour battery and connected to a 2000 watt inverter. I needed a 2000 watt inverter to power my power tools and 600w electric pot to cook ramen.
Overall its a good test and the solar power system for my shed will be great!
