REVIEW: Door Stop Alarm – Alerts & Stops Doors

If you work alone or travel alone and want to know if someone entered a door, then getting a Door Stop Alarm ( https://amzn.to/3Ka9VNq ) may be very useful. I got these to let me know if someone opened my door while I am working in the other part of the office or house. It also acts as a door stop to slow the opening of the door.

Door Stop Alarm ( https://amzn.to/3Ka9VNq ) runs on a 9V battery and has an ON/OFF switch, sensitivity switch (H M L – but only M and L works, H is too sensitive), and the wedge switch. It has rubber feet so it will work on tile or carpeted floors.

Overall, Door Stop Alarm ( https://amzn.to/3Ka9VNq ) will be useful daily or when I am traveling or staying late at the office. Or if you want to alerted when someone has come home.

REVIEW: ALLPOWERS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel with my JACKERY Explorer 240 Power Station.

I bought an ALLPOWERS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel ( https://amzn.to/3COOcqN ) for my Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ). I am going to review it in this video.

Stuff in this Video:
ALLPOWERS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel ( https://amzn.to/3COOcqN )
ROCKPALS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel ( https://amzn.to/3nJZoRa )
Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW )

My Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) is light and compact to bring with you during camping or off the grid. Its convenient and has AC outlet, USB ports for fast charging, and a 12 volt socket . Charging takes about 5-7hours depending of method. With the included AC or 12 volt car charger it charges at 62 Watts and is fully charged in about 5 hours. I wanted to charge it while camping using solar so i bought a ALLPOWERS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel ( https://amzn.to/3COOcqN ) .

According to Jackery’s manual it can only charge at about 60 Watts max, so buying a 60 Watt portable solar panel seemed like a great idea. Generally the more solar panel wattage the larger your panels will be depending on how its packaged. I wanted something light and compact and had a max charge of 60 watts so i dont damage my Jackery Explorer 240.

The ALLPOWERS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel ( https://amzn.to/3COOcqN ) works fine on the Jackery 240. I got about 30-40 watts in full sun which was expected as the the manual says it would take about 7 hours to charge using a 60W solar panel.

I generally follow the sun during camping. Moving the panel from my car’s windshield, to the car roof, then to the rear window and trunk, while camping and get a good 4-5 hours of charging in. There are eye holes to hang or tie down the panel as well. I have the Jackery Power station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) in my car when charging and just have the wire go into my door weather strip.

Pros:

  • Compatible with other power stations.
  • Compact simple single fold.
  • Good / expected charging speed for solar.
  • Light weight.
  • Two USB charging ports .
  • Can add additional solar panels.

    Cons:
  • Solar Controller USB ports stick out side of the bag zipper.
  • May need a chair or car to act as a stand to follow the sun.

Overall ALLPOWERS 60 Watt Folding Solar Panel ( https://amzn.to/3COOcqN ) a good performer and gets the job done. I would have wanted a solar panel kit that produces closer to the 60W output, however that would mean getting a larger 100 W solar panel for the future.

UNBOXING: COSTCO American Red Cross Family First Aid Kit (120 Pc Set) on CLEARANCE for $9.97!!!

I got an American Red Cross Family First Aid Kit (120 Piece Set) at Costco two weeks ago for $9.97 on clearance, normally these kits costs about $20. There are similar family first aid kits online: https://amzn.to/3e2bD5y

I have always assembled my own first aid kits in the past and wanted to see what a typical family first aid kit actually contained. If you want to see the included items, its about 30 seconds into the video.

I would get some more regular bandages ( https://amzn.to/3uSyK9G ), blood clotting bandages ( https://amzn.to/3aeHsHd ) , Neosporin antibacterial ointment https://amzn.to/3gcwLIY) , eye wash rinse solution ( https://amzn.to/3gcvamz) and anti diarrhea pills ( https://amzn.to/3txk5Ax ) to cover my bases.

Overall its a pretty complete kit with room to expand to more binder sleeves. I would buy more A5 binder pockets to add more capacity to this kit ( https://amzn.to/2RAw2Hs ). The 2 ring binder is an odd shape and the fact that the grommet holes go through the top of the case does not make this case waterproof if it rains.

Its this kit worth it. Yes, if you never had a first aid kit for the home or car. However, while it has a good guide and is well organized. It is meant to be expanded with more supplies.
