REVIEW: Cordless Polisher Buffer 20V

I like polishing and waxing my car before winter season. I got a cordless polisher ( https://amzn.to/3gjfsIB ) to quicky polish and buff the car with a polish compound ( https://amzn.to/3SbohRV ) then I use Ceramic hybrid spray ( https://amzn.to/3ETk426 ) to add water repelling properties to the paint. This whole process takes less than 1 hour to do even with a wash.

I normally fix any paint chips a day prior to washing, polishing, and waxing. The cordless polisher ( https://amzn.to/3gjfsIB ) i got had a 4 mah battery that is able to complete the care in one charge. Its more convenient than pulling out my corded polisher, especially for quick jobs like this one. Its also good if you are not close to an electrical outlet. I got about 2 hours of runtime on the battery while working on my car.

I use the included 6 inch buffer pad from the kit to apply the polish compound. Then used microfiber bonnets ( https://amzn.to/3VAcOOE ) to place over my buffing foam pad to buff off polish. Lastly, I used the Ceramic hybrid spray ( https://amzn.to/3ETk426 ) to finish and coat the polish. I know the spray ceramic lasts a few months long enough to do a full detail in a few months.

HOW TO: Remove Old Car Window Tint With STEAM! Conair Turbo Extreme Steam Hand Held Steamer

So 2017 Chevy Volt aftermarket car window tint film was failing and started to bubble. I was not able see to through it and needed to re tint it. The tint shop I went to closed down. Tint shops wanted about $150 to remove it and $100 for a new tint. So i decided to DIY this and save money.

So the steam process of removing tint is simple and will take about 1 hour or so for me to do. I done this before with my other cars year ago. Typically car tint lasts about 5 years before it starts bubbling in the rear window.

I used my old Conair Extreme Turbo Hand Held Steamer ( https://amzn.to/2TWJO8L ) as a steamer to melt the adhesive and safety remove the tint from my rear window with defroster lines. I bought Conair Turbo Extreme 2 IN 1 Steamer and Iron ( https://amzn.to/3GotO1X ) , however I didnt want to dirty it with adhesive for my clothing. Secondly, the Conair Extreme Turbo Hand Held Steamer ( https://amzn.to/2TWJO8L ) was easier to handle, was more focused steam area for better control, and steamed very fast. I also used some microfiber towels ( https://amzn.to/3RBGaKa ) to absorb the adhesive on the final cleaning.

Basic Steps:
Work one corner of the tint use the steam to heat the adhesive. I kept the steam 1-2 cm from the window.
In a few seconds the tint will release from the glue.
I pulled one corner and continued to heat and slowly pull the tint away from the glass and defroster lines. You want the steam to release the adhesive, dont force it.
After all the tint is removed. There may be adhesive on the glass.
Wrap the microfiber towel over the hand held steamer and use it to melt and absorb the adhesive.
I had to run to passes to get all the adhesive off.

Overall it took about 1 hour to remove the tint and adhesive. Next time it would probably take 30 mins as I was being very careful.
