DIY: How to keep wrench sockets from falling out of the socket wench case.

I made a quick case diy mod after dropping my sockets out. i got a DeWalt 1/4″ Drive 50 PC Tool Set on sale for $19 at Costco. I seen similar DeWalt 1/4″ drive kits online: https://amzn.to/2mIhAO5

The kit was good and I have it with me when i travel. Like one of the viewers said, the sockets fall out if you open it the wrong way. i dropped the sockets once or twice. i basically used some clear plastidip on my socket case for more friction.

Using Tide Pods for the first time!

I got a Tide Pod trial pod and used it for the first time. They sell at Costco Tide Pods – $29 for 168 loads (pacs) vs online : ( https://amzn.to/2ZswKtz ) Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

It was so nice to look at, but it was easier to use. Just pop it into the laundry load and thats it! So simple, perfect for the trip to the laundry place.

As a comparison, I took a look at other laundry detergent prices at my Costco versus online versions:

I eventually picked up a bottle of the Kirkland Signature Ultra Free and Clear for $11!!! It was a super deal! I also got a bulk bag of Arm & Hammer baking soda ( https://amzn.to/2KXK6VE )for extra cleaning power!

Costco! DURACELL 3000W INVERTER $279! – UNBOXING

I bought a DURACELL 3000 Watt power inverter (model DRINV3000 ) online from Costco.com with a $60 off instant savings. Its pretty big. It was also available on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2oXResV and at Costco (w/ $60 off) : https://www.costco.com/Duracell-3000-Watt-High-Power-Inverter.product.100498909.html . Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

With the 3000 watt inverter, i plan to hook it up to my 2017 Chevy Volt as a emergency power generator so i can power my freezer and power tools if any rolling power outages happen to California, like it did last week, due to the high wind and high forest fire risk.

It comes with 2x 1/0 AWG cables and a remote power switch. Long term wise, i plan to use this with my solar power project with my Chevy Volt’s 12 volt AGM battery and other batteries to convert the stored solar panels into 115v to power my electronics and other appliances.

I typically have a 150 W power inverter in my car for my laptop, and this 3000 W power inverter is HUGE compared to the 150 Watt w/ usb charging ( https://amzn.to/2MxoIaI ), I also have a 1000 watt inverter for camping (https://amzn.to/2N0FQEq ).

I can’t wait to set this up with my 2017 Chevy Volt or to build a small solar power system to power my garage. Stay tuned for more!
