Here is the list :

Sound / Noise: Generally the .22 pellets are low noise considering both the Swarm Maxxim and Swarm Magnum have fixed muzzle baffles to lower the noise levels.  For sub 1000 FPS, i got about 54 db  – 63 db for most of my test pellets, except for the Gamo Platinum PBA on the Swarm Magnum which was loud crack due to the 1230 FPS!

How I test:  I load up a  Swarm 10 Shot clip with one type of pellet and shoot 5 shots with the Swarm Maxxim, then I switch to my Swarm Magnum and shoot the remaining 5 pellets.

GAMO Pellet Types:  Pellet –  (  Swarm Maxxim  / Swarm Magnum )

  • Gamo Platinum PBA  ( 979 FPS /  1230 FPS  )
    • Notes:
      • very loud over 1000 FPS.
      • expensive pellets
  • TS-22 – 22.00 grain  ( 564 FPS / 709 FPS )
    • Notes:
      • Skirt of the pellet deforms easily – Bad.
      • Sometimes jams in Swarm Magnum clip
  • Magnum Energy  15.60 grain :  ( 722 FPS / 925 FPS )
    • Master Point Energy – 16.20 grain: (692 FPS / 880 FPS )
    • Hunter Impact – 15.3 gr : (  650 FPS /  905 FPS )

UNBOX / REVIEW! Type-S Solar Wireless Car Backup Cam! $124

I just got the Type S Solar HD Wireless Car Backup Cam for $124! This is a good kit if you don’t want to splice wires and just want a plug and play solution.  There are other wireless backup cameras which use 12 volt power from a reverse light ( https://amzn.to/2OdiudB ), but this unit makes it even simpler for the DIYer!

It took only about 10 minutes to install. The frame backup camera took about 1 hour to fully charge with via a USB charge plug. The TypeS Solar Wireless Backup Cam uses solar to power the rear license plate camera! It has a battery and solar panel built in to the license plate!

The backup camera kit is activated by waving your hand at the monitor and by g-sensor (car movement) to wake up the camera. I noticed that the sun light hitting the sensors my impede the wave function.

Overall the image and video was good.  It took no time to install and use.  On my 2007 Honda Accord, the camera was a little high so i was not able to see my bumper.  There is no way to adjust the angle of the camera a steeper angle to see my bumper. I adjusted the guide lines to note that the red markings were about 1.5 feet from my car.  This camera setup would work better for my larger panel van.

Overall i am impressed by the ease of install and use. I hope they improve the next model to have a camera they can angle downward.

Swagtron Swagger 15lb carbon fiber Folding Electric Scooter! $279! Unboxing!

Update!: Full review here: https://youtu.be/5jQXrIyJCXE

Costco! Swagtron Swagger 15 lb Carbon fiber folding Electric Scooter! I got it in about 2 days of ordering shipped to my door. Its pretty fun! I will post a review later this week. This is the unboxing and findings.

I got the Swagger Carbon Fiber Scooter for about 2 weeks from Costco online or you can get it from Amazon ( http://amzn.to/2wdvR8t ) or direct from the manufacture.  Swagtron also has the latest Swagger 5 :   https://amzn.to/2AERz6Q

.I have been wanting to make a review video and finally did. Overall its a fun fast electric scooter. The small wheels takes time to get used to and due to the speed, users should probably wear a helmet or at least dont get distracted and not watch for uneven pavements. The uneven pavements may make you loose balance. Any hoo : real world range is about 5-10 miles on flat pavement and 3-7 on inclines. I like the scooter but perfer if it had better quality control as mine was had loose screws and stem, and did not include tools as stated.
