REVIEW & DIY : Heads Up Display (HUD) – M07 for my Honda

I always wanted a HUD so I dont need to look down at for speed. I recently bought a ACECAR M-12 ( https://amzn.to/3dLFRcS ) and ACECAR M-07 ( https://amzn.to/3d6SuQO ) Heads Up Display units for my Honda. This video reviews the ACECAR M7.

The main differences between the M7 to the M12 is the size of units, and the amount of data presented. If you want just 2 lines of date and very large font size, the AceCar M7 ( https://amzn.to/3d6SuQO ) HUD has the larger font size to project onto the windshield. However, it only has 2 lines of data you can choose. Its also smaller than the M12 ( https://amzn.to/3dLFRcS ) unit which makes it easier to place on your dash board. The M12 has 3 main data displays, with smaller fonts and different colors display. It may be too difficult to read. The size is slightly larger.

Its large numbers is very visible at day and night time. Installing is very easy with either connection to the cars OBD2 port or it can run with GPS mode in which all it needs is a USB power. The unit is plug and play but needs to be configured for metric and English measurements. If connected to the OBD2 it will drain my 12 volt battery, thats why i prefer the USB power so it turns off when my car is off.

Overall it is pretty accurate and is able to read speed, distance, engine temperature, RPM, and other information when connected to the OBD2 port. With the GPS mode you can display direction, speed.

Update on my steering wheel cover and TPMS system. Its been over 2 years with my SHIAWASENA Steering wheel cover $16 ( https://amzn.to/2XsIEP6 ) which had a smooth surface and patterned with red stitching. It still in good condition and has not cracked yet. Tire Pressure Monitor TPMS ( https://amzn.to/2ncBVf6 )still works after 1.5 years . I cost about $30. The sensors need new CR1616 batteries every 6 months but the solar powered main unit works well.

REVIEW: PETKIT EverSweet 3 Smart Pet Drinking Fountain

We got a PetKit EverSweet 3 – Smart Pet Drinking Fountain ( https://amzn.to/3cP3qCl ) ! Our gray cat loves the out door bamboo water fountain, so we got him a indoor pet friendly stainless steel water fountain.

It runs on USB power and has backup AAA batteries incase of a power outage. It holds over 1 liter of water so we will only need to change out the water weekly rather than daily. The build in replaceable carbon water filter ( https://amzn.to/3fOALiG ) lasts for 30 to 60 days to keep the water clean and fur free.

So we are also got an Anker wall USB adapter ( https://amzn.to/39IBEWo ) and 26800mah powerbank ( https://amzn.to/39N6UTX ) , so it can run off the wall with backup power.

For our use the location does not have wall power, so we will rely on the 26,800 mah power bank ( https://amzn.to/39N6UTX) to keep it powered for 3-4 weeks. The backup 5 AAA batteries ( https://amzn.to/3sUzZVb ) on the base of the unit should last abotu 4-7 days if the power goes out.

We love the all stainless steel reservoir and top tray, The main unit is removeable from the power base for easy cleaning and refilling of water.

The small pump can be taken apart to be cleaned as with other componets of the smart pet fountain. We had to use bamboo or wooden chopstickets to pull the impeller out. The device can detect low water leave and low battery power to protect the pump.

Overall this 1.3 liter pet drinking fountain will last about 1 weeks worth of water and the USB power bank should last about 30 days before recharging. The unit will be cleaned and washed every week. This will save me time in the long run and looks modern like the SureFeed RFID pet feeder ( https://amzn.to/2R1xmCK ) . Even though our cat was more interested in the usb cable than the water fountain, we know he has been drinking it.
