How to clean your Hydroflask or insulated bottles. (How to Remove bottle odor and grime)

How to clean your Hydroflask or insulated bottles. (Remove odor and grime)  Yay! I got my first Hydro Flask and I have been cleaning it with this method since i got it. There are other Hydro Flask sold online: https://amzn.to/36bRnZh ranging from $27 – $44. There are also gasket replacments ( https://amzn.to/3b5TPET ). But if you clean your insulated bottles everyday it will be odor and grime free. You have to remove the gasket to clean the build up of grime and protein, especially with coffee and sugar drinks. Get a good bottle brush ( https://amzn.to/31HdfNj ) a tooth pick, some liquid dish soap ( https://amzn.to/3b6NdWN ), and wash cloth for this cleaning.

Costco REDUCE Hot 1 Mug – Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated handle mugs – 2 Pack – $17

Costco has a new model of the REDUCE Hot 1 MUG – 14 OZ Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated handle mugs in a 2 Pack for $17. There are many similar stainless steel vacuum insulated handle mugs online https://amzn.to/2ZlJD72 for about $10 to $20 with a variety of colors and styles. The Reduce Hot 1 Mug set had several colors including blue, white, and gray at my Costco. According to the box it holds beverages up to 4 hours hot, fits single serve coffee makers, and is dish washer safe. Each mug has a 14 oz capacity. They are made with 18/8 stainless steel. The lid and sip flow rate can be adjusted.

I have a similar camper style mug made by Yeti I bought last year. It was the Yeti Rambler 14 oz Mug ( https://amzn.to/3fn0zzg). Its very well durable and well insulated and I used daily. If this Reduce Hot 1 Mug has similar performance to my Yeti, then it would make for great office gifts or gifts for family get together. Or it would be great to just have these as regular durable mugs at the office, at home, or during camping. My first HydroFlask! – 20oz REI – Wonder Snow Cap (Limited Collection)

Yay! I got my first Hydro Flask! Its a limited edition Wonder Collection Wide-Mouth Vacuum water bottle. I got it as a surprise gift from a friend who saw how beat up my current insulated water bottle was. It looks like she got me a limited edition Snow Cap from REI! There are other Hydro Flask sold online: https://amzn.to/36bRnZh ranging from $27 – $44. However, I believe the Wonder Collection Snow Cap is specific to REI hence its priced very high online: https://amzn.to/30F0pgh. I personally love that it can be customized with different color caps, and anti-slip boots for these Hydro Flasks. So many antislip boot colors are available online as well as third party designs: https://amzn.to/2G9wxPJ . The Flex Cap is what i will be using as it should be leak proof and it comes in many colors for customization as well: https://amzn.to/2NM0KIH . I personally did not know there was such a large level of customizing Hyrdro Flask bottles.

Seeing so many competitors for this insulated beverage bottle space such as from Yeti, Pelican, ThermoFlask, and other $15-$25 dollar bottles online, the assumption is the cost of production or wholesale pricing for the bottle may be about under $10. Just a guess, I dont know. Seeing Costco can sell 2 ThermoFlasks for $22, it is probably under $10 dollars to produce. Last time Costco sold a Hydroflask bottle it was $29.

I can see why branding, company mission and customization of the bottles, and plays an important part to keep Hydroflask unique to the fans and consumers. According to their website they donate to support parks which is for a good cause. After trying this 20 oz Hydro Flask for a few days, I love the initial quality and style. I will make followup review after a few weeks of use. Probably by that time I would have customized my Hydro Flask as well.
