So, I needed a compact hand truck that was compact and can handle stairs so I bought one of these stair climbing hand trucks with 10 wheels ( https://amzn.to/3lI3dDe ) . Works well for my purpose. I got this folding stair climbing hand truck to move 5 gallon water jugs from the car to my pantry. I also have been using it to move 5 gallon buckets of collected shower warm up water to water my garden from my bathroom. It works well going up and down staircases There are swivel wheels on the platform to be able to rotate the cart 360 degrees.

While the product description says it can handle about 178 lbs of weight, however the most I have used it for was about 85 lbs or so. Its relatively light weight and folds quickly and compactly when not in use. It comes with the swivel wheels, bungie cord, cargo bag, a small screwdriver, wrench, and nuts and bolt to mount the swivel wheels. With the wheels on, the cart rests on the two hind wheels and 4 of the 6 stair climbing wheels at an angle ready to load stuff. It is stable when at an angle, even with a load.

PRO:

  • Works on staircases going up and down.
  • Swivel wheels are included if you need to the cart to rotate 360 degrees in tight places.
  • With swivel wheels mounted, it stands at a slight angle with 6 wheels.
  • Folds easily for storage
  • Light weight

CON:

  • Swivel wheels do not have locks so the cart may roll away. ( You need to place it at the resting angle and place weight onto the center of the platform.
  • No English instructions in the box. ( it should be pretty easy to setup by pictures alone, otherwise just take a look at my video for setup. I did a unboxing, setup, and use. )

Overall well worth it to move 5 gallon bottles, buckets, coolers, and other heavy items that don’t have any wheels. This would be good to bring during camping or if you need a light foldable compact hand truck to move things from your car or room.

4 YR Long Term Review: Bayside Furnishings Mesh Office Chair – Best Chair Ever!

I bought Bayside Furnishings Mesh Office Chair from Costco for $99 in 2016. There are similar mesh office chairs online for about $100 ( https://amzn.to/3jfdKoh ). How well is it holding up? I got it for the mesh chair for breathable material and support.

I always wanted a mesh chair and wanted to get a $1,000 Herman Miller Aeron chair (https://amzn.to/39cprHN ), but could not afford it. I am so glad Costco just got a Bayside furnishings mesh office chair for $99. My Youtube vlogs may have associated affiliate links to products that I may earn from qualifying purchases.

The seat material has held up very well . There has not been any tears or cuts in the mesh and still provides great support to my back, butt, and thighs. Likewise for the adjustable arm rests which has looked the same as it did 4 years ago.

Over the past 12 months, i have been sitting on the edge of my seat which has caused the front of the mesh to pull and stretch more but overall it provides the same support and cooing.
I lost arm cushion screw about 3 years in, and has replaced it with a M12 bolt laying around. I also put thread lock ( https://amzn.to/3jkWXQG) into it so it wont come loose again.

I bought a second one in 2017, for my brother who customized his with a 3rd party head rest ( https://amzn.to/32vKHqF ) and removal of the arm rests.

Costco Bayside Furnishings – Metrex Mesh Office Chair $99

Costco has Bayside Furnishings “Metrex” Mesh Office Chair for $99. There are similar mesh office chairs online for about $100 ( https://amzn.to/3jfdKoh ). The great thing about mesh chairs is the breathable material and support. I design of this Bayside Metrex Mesh chair looks the same as the one i purchased in 2016! I will post a long term review later. So stay tuned!

Costco also has True Innovation office task chair for $69. Their are similar task chairs online : https://amzn.to/31P3dtM . There were 3 colors available at my Costco in black, blue, and white inserts. I personally prefer mesh task chair that support and ventilate rather than the faux leather chairs. Mesh task chairs come in a variety of colors https://amzn.to/2VPBLZ7 . Of the 3 task chairs i bought from Costco, the mesh one lasted the longest.
