REVIEW: 26,800 mAh PowerBank – OLD (Miady PD Powerbank ) vs New (ultra compact Power bank)

This is a long term review and unboxing of my 26,800 mAh PowerBanks i own.
OLD vs New comparison. I have the Miady 26800 mah portable PD power bank ( https://amzn.to/37v2bWf ) for over 1.5 years and now its holds only about 50% of charge. My new IEsafy 26800mAh Portable Power Bank ( https://amzn.to/3nvekQx ) is a lot smaller lighter and holds the same charge. I have the Miady 26800 mah portable PD power bank ( https://amzn.to/37v2bWf ) for over 1.5 years and now its holds only about 50% of charge. It is able to PD fast charge smartphones and other devices very quickly. It also allow combined charging from USB C and Mint USB to fast charge the powerbank in 6 hours vs 8-10 hour for typical charge times with other 26,800 mAh power banks.

My new IEsafy 26800mAh Portable Power Bank ( https://amzn.to/3nvekQx ) is a lot smaller lighter and holds the same charge. It takes about 8 – 9 hours to fully charge, and does not have dual charging. It does have USB C and micro USB input charging but does not have USB C device charging. ITs max output from the two USB A ports is 5 V 2.1A. Its size is about 30% smaller than the Miady.

Sterling W – My Current Travel Vlog Gear (DEC 2020)

I get asked what gear i use for vlogging, so I made video and post to answer this question. I typically travel light on my gear and have started to experimented with traveling lighter with less cameras.

I now bring my Samsung Note 20 Ultra ( https://amzn.to/37U6iu2 ) smartphone and my Insta360 ONE R ( https://amzn.to/2Kl9iYo ) as my cameras. I use Samsung Galaxy BUDS+ Plus ear buds ( https://amzn.to/2JQxEJK )as my personal microphone, as both the Samsung Note 20 and Insta360 ONE R are able to use them as microphone inputs through Bluetooth connect.

For supports, I used the same Sunpak metal selfie stick ( https://amzn.to/3nfBF8V )for over 8 years, it was originally for my GoPro. I recently got a new COMAN flexible rubberized tripod online with ball mount( https://amzn.to/2JCLFtR ). I needed a small travel flexible tripod for my my vlogging with my phone and camera to mount my camera or light anywhere. My most recent new support gear is a Moza Mini P 3 axis gimbal stabilizer ( https://amzn.to/2Wbpaza ) which is able to handle cameras up to 900 g in weight. Its very advanced and i am still learning how to use it.

I love the ball head mount. Its all metal base and ball head is very well built. It holds my 2 pound DSLR as well as my cell phone camera without sliding. The top base mount has a 1/4 inch mount and a hidden fold out smart phone holder. The smartphone holder is large enough for my 6.9 inch Samsung Note S20 Ultra to fit in as well my other cell phones.

REVIEW: SAMSUNG Galaxy BUDS+ (Plus) – Works with Insta360 ONE R!

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ ( https://amzn.to/3qmxKc6 ) in a beautiful sexy red ear buds. I got red because it was easier to find in a bag at the gym than black. I also got Wireless Charging Base 10W ( https://amzn.to/3oizTUC ) for my Samsung BUDS+ )  for my Samsung BUDS+. These buds are discreet compact comfortable and have greater noise cancelling, and 11 hour playback time. Great for commuting or working out. The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are about $100 to $149 depending on the sale. I got them during Black Friday sale for $109. Is it worth it?

The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ is very good in terms of noise cancelling, customization, and comfort. For the ball park $100 price tag, its affordable and offers the best bang for the dollar performance in passive noise cancelling. The ear wings and ear plugs pads are very comfortable an block all the sound around you. It has three microphones to pickup noise and filters noise during conference calls. Samsung Galaxy Buds+ also uses the mics as with ambient sound settings let you listen ambient sound in 3 different levels.

. You will need the Samsung Wearables app to unlock many advanced features of the Galaxy Buds+ including customizing ambient sound, sound equalizer, touch control settings, and updating software. The LABs feature offer a volume control by tapping the edge of the buds, this is a very cool function that frees up the touch pad for other functions such as calling Google assistant or changing ambient sound.

The sound quality is very good and clean. It was cleaner and warmer than the Sound Core Life P2 or Life Q30 i reviewed earlier. Telephone conference calls were clear as people on the other end were able to hear me clearly.

Insta360 ONE R – Airpod mode works very well with the with the Samsung Galaxy Buds+. In fact it was one of the best sounding recording test from all the buds i have tested with the Insta360 ONE R AirPod mode. Good clean audio better than SoundCore Life Q30, Life P2, and slightly better than the Sony WH1000 MX3 sound recording. . It was able to sync and record my voice in mono to the Insta360.

Overall, I am very impressed with the comfort, sound quality, passive noise cancelling quality, and ease of use of the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ . They are compact, great sounding, have 11 hours of runtime, comfortable, and actually sexy in red and other stylish colors.
