Unbox & Review: Wireless Bike Anti-Theft Alarm with Remote! $15!!!

I got an Onvian Wireless Motorcycle Bike Anti-Theft Alarm with Remote ( https://amzn.to/2SrGywi ) from Amazon for $15. There has been more bicycle thefts at my workplace. I wanted to put an alarm on my bicycle and electric scooter to alert me if someone was messing with my bicycle. I got an Onvian Wireless Motorcycle Bike Anti-Theft Alarm with Remote ( https://amzn.to/2SrGywi ) from Amazon for $15.  It had  USB Rechargeable  500mah lithium battery.  But i got it for the  vibration sensor as a bicycle security alarm. There were other battery powered vibration alarms online that ran on regular AA batteries: https://amzn.to/2Vf7gKh .

Excited I unboxed it and found it had lots of mounting options but a very limited instruction sheet on how to use the remote and alarm. There were more details on how to mount it on the product page images.  It can be mounted with foam tape or strapped to the bicycle stem. There was also no website with info on this.

Before mounting anything, I needed to test it.  I charged it for about 1 hour (it needs to be charged for 3 hours total).  I powered on the alarm by holding the lock button. It powered on and beeped and beeped again signalling that it was armed. I tried to shake it according to the instructions… NOTHING!  I read the instructions and changed the sensitivity to the highest level 5 beeps.  Rearmed and shook it . NOTHING.  This unit was dead on arrival (DOA).

Sucks because it took more then 4 days to arrive just to have a dead unit.   I will try to contact the Onvian reseller that sold it, however it may be easier just returning it as defective.

UNBOX & REVIEW : Climb Cart Folding Stair Climbing Cart (75 lb max weight)

I got a Climb Cart Folding Stair Climbing Cart to move heavy items down and up my porch stairs.  They sell similar stair climbing carts online:  https://amzn.to/2GDXZIl  .

I bought this to move my 5 gallon buckets filled with weekly shower warm up water to water my plants. Its roughly about 40 pounds of weight.  This cart makes it easier to traverse the stairs going up  or down. It does have issue with the space between the stairs getting caught.  This could have be corrected with larger wheels.

Overall it works for getting groceries and stuff weighing under 60 lbs.
I  think would get the 200 lb capacity  6 wheeled UpCart stair climbing cart at Costco for about $79!  or a similar one on Amazon :  https://amzn.to/2QPz8WW  It would be safer for heavier items!

$5 Walmart – Ozark Trail 12-in1 Multitool! Unboxing & Review!

I had my Gerber multifunction tool stolen ( https://amzn.to/2BBVP6u ) and needed to get a replacement. I miss the sharp scissors. So I got a $10 Mossy Oak Multitool ( https://amzn.to/2V79ScW ) and carry it with me.  For my other backup tools i keep in the car or bug out bag, i got a couple of 5 dollar Walmart Ozark Trail – 12-in1 Multitool! Unboxing & Review!  They also sell them online ( https://amzn.to/2LwE1y1 ) but i either buy them locally at Walmart or rather just get the better built Mossy Oak for about $10 or spend more for a Leatherman ( https://amzn.to/2BEvmFc ).

For the price, $5 gets you lots of value for the money: pliers, wire cutters, two knives, screw drivers, can opener, file, fish hook tool, ruler, and a belt holster. Pretty standard.  The cons will be the stiff non locking mechanism and blade that may needs to be sharpened.  Makes for a perfect inexpensive coworker gift!
