Costco – High Sierra CRAGIN Hydration Backpack for $29 (Blue / Orange)

Costco has a new High Sierra CRAGIN Hydration Backpack for $29. Similar Hydration packs online sold online: https://amzn.to/2xJsmJR This year the only color at my Costco was Blue with Orange trim and extra reflective areas. Otherwise its very similar to my other hydration backpack. I bought and reviewed a CRAGIN Hydration Backpack last year and here is the video review.

I wanted new hydration pack that was larger than my bicycling hydration backpack. This is a hydration pack with 2 liter bladder with wide open area for easy cleaning. I found the backpack kind of small for my needs although it was bigger than the hydration pack i was replacing. Considering the replacment bladder alone would have cost about $12 ( https://amzn.to/2K3546p ) . I also bought a Mazama Hydration Pack for $16 at Costco to compare: https://youtu.be/K0h5tAApQkI

CROSMAN SR357 Full Metal CO2 BB Revolver – UNBOXING

This is a quick unboxing and features (only) review video of the Crosman SR357 full metal CO2 air powered BB revolver ( https://amzn.to/2xZNtXU ). Full detailed review next week. This is a CO2 air pistol and not a firearm. And in the United States you need to be 16 years old to buy one at a retail store or online. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

I have been wanting to buy this for a long time. Mainly due to the full metal weight of the pistol to practice handling and plinking. I love the Crosman Vigilante ( https://amzn.to/34m5AUo ). I bought years ago. Its also a CO2 based pellet and BB revolver. While the Vigilante is fun, accurate, and very durable over the 5 years i owned it, its plastic. I wanted something a little more authentic that i can load and plink. Full review and mods here:

The Crosman SR357 full metal BB revolver ( https://amzn.to/2xZNtXU ) has the full weight and function like a real revolver. Down to the revolver magazine and ejector pin, it can be easily mistaken for a revolver so use caution when transporting or target practicing.

Crosman also produces short barrel version the SNR357 (https://amzn.to/34ox4bY ) that is able to use either pellet or bb’s. I chose to buy the regular SR357 as I only plan to use BB’s with my plinking and wanted the look of the long barrel size.

Pros:
-Great realism and feel – down to the revolver ejector and metal cartridges for the bb’s
-Heavy full metal air pistol (about 2 pounds)
-CO2 BB’s are inexpensive buy
Cons:
-CO2 Handle cover comes off way too easy making the hammer cocking annoying.
-Metal cartridges are about $10 – $12 for pack ( https://amzn.to/34jCSDr ) and they only seem to have pellet version of the cartridges. Slow loading without a speed loader ( https://amzn.to/3ea8TT9 ).

Overall: I wanted to own this since it came our years ago, it was on sale so I bought it. Is it worth it? I am not sure yet as i have not fully tested the accuracy and handling yet. Stay tuned next week for that video.

Costco – COHO High Performance Cooler – 55 Quart / 39 Can – $119

Costco has a new High Performance Cooler made by COHO and sells for $119. This is a great value especially when comparing to a Yeti Tundra or similar coolers: https://amzn.to/32Uxmsq . There are similar high performance coolers online: https://amzn.to/3bV7sXk . Its a high performance heavily insulated cooler great for fishing and keeping ice for days. My Youtube vlogs may have associated affiliate links to products that I may earn from qualifying purchases.

I like the nice built in features of this cooler such as the threaded drain mount that can fit a garden hose for directed drainage. It has a heavy duty 1.5 inch insulated casing, door gasket, fish ruler, corded handles, and according to the packaging should keep ice for 5 days. Good for fishing or transporting 55 quarts of frozen stuff or keeping 39 cans of drinks cold. LOL!
