Hey guys! I wanted to answer a few questions that viewers have been asking about the NorthRock XC00. How much it weighs and how long is the seat stem.
For the stock weight, I took off the worthless kickstand. In addition i added a cable lock, tool kit, bell, bottle cage, cellphone mount, and about 4-6 ounces of Slime ( https://amzn.to/2r3dpLE )in each tire. For this test i remove the everything i added but the cage, slime, and bell. I also removed the kickstand and bolt. On the bathroom scale, it was under 35 pounds. So there. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.
For the seat stem, It was about 10 inches from the minimum required seat post height. So you can position it 10 inches above the seat quick release collar. there you have it. perfect for really tall riders.
I bike with my fat tire during weekends and occasionally with work friends for lunch when riding though really bad urban streets. The fat tire just soak up all the bumps and make it entertaining to ride.
I bought my NorthRock XC00 last year for $299 and it was awesome light weight Aluminium Fat Tire bike. Amazon has a similar selection but is pricer: https://amzn.to/2J6gYYA . Newer versions of this bike had the cable and color upgrades (Gray Orange), cable runs (JagWire Cables – https://amzn.to/2JWrumv ) and a new headset stem that seems difference from the 2017 version (https://wp.me/p9dbox-bJ) . Same weight and other components all around.
