REVIEW: Therm-a-Rest Basecamp Self-Inflating Camping Mattress – 15 Years Later

I got a Therm-a-Rest Basecamp Self-Inflating Camping Sleeping Pad
( https://amzn.to/3Q3YUjH ) 15 years ago and still use it. I normally use it twice a year for camping , however I also use it for a quick mattress for sitting. It is self inflating with the internal foam.

It needs about a few breathes of air to fill, overall its effortless to setup in a minute. Very well made and high quality. For wet or cold camping, I pair it with my ultralight camping cot ( https://amzn.to/3KLIKdRso ) i am off the floor of the tent. It makes a difference during a rain down pour.

REVIEW: Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat – WATER TEST!

I got a Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat ( https://amzn.to/3vzjxxg ) for my shower to replace my bath floor towel mat. I wanted a non-slip mat and a highly absorbent mat so if someone was to shower before me, I would not step on to cold wet shower mat.

The Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat ( https://amzn.to/3vzjxxg ) works very well for showers and wet feet. The water gets absorbed into the mat. The floor stays dry and the top of the mat is moist but not drenched during normal use. Overall it looks and feels like a huge mouse pad. The bottom is rubber. The thin center is part of the rubberized foam and the top fabric feels grippy and comfortable.

After 4 weeks, the Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat ( https://amzn.to/3vzjxxg ) has stayed clean and works well. I wash it every week with dish detergent and water and let it hang dry in the shower stall. It dries in about several hours.

For the water test, i pour about 16 ozs of water to see if if absorbs quickly.

Overall the Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat ( https://amzn.to/3vzjxxg ) offers the stability and comfort of having a good non slip floor mat that also feels good to use. Its also easy to clean and take care of.

The VORNADO 160 ( https://amzn.to/3Me0m1r ) Personal Air Circulator Fan is one of the best personal fans I owned for personal air circulation around and under my desk and night stand. I love the “white noise ” it generates and makes it easy to fall asleep to. The effect range of the fan is about 3- 5 feet. Of the two speeds, the high speed not too noisy while the low speed is almost zero fan noise.

While VORNADO 160 ( https://amzn.to/3Me0m1r ) does not have oscillation motors, you can point the base and swivel neck straight up or angled down. The fan is well built and well designed. It is also easy to clean and maintain as the fan guard can be removed for cleaning.

Overall, this is a great small room fan or corner of the room fan, or a direct cooling fan for the computer you have under your desk. It circulates air in a tight tunnel for about 5 feet. It is also very sleek and simple design Its also adds to my collection of Vornado fans in the house.
