Having owned the Redragon Updated S101 Programmable Gaming Keyboard and Mouse for four years now, one of the most impressive aspects has been its sheer durability. My peripherals have faced their fair share of accidental bumps, the occasional dust accumulation, and even (dare I admit it) a few minor liquid mishaps. Yet, through it all, the S101 has continued to perform reliably, a testament to its surprising robustness and excellent build quality.

Through countless hours of intense gaming sessions, the Redragon S101 keys on the keyboard have held up remarkably well. The keycaps haven’t faded or become overly glossy, and the tactile feedback remains consistent. This speaks to the quality of the materials used and the overall construction of the keyboard, designed to withstand the rigors of competitive gaming.

The Redragon S101‘s weighted mouse has also proven to be incredibly durable. Despite numerous clicks and being dragged across my mousepad for years, the buttons still feel responsive, and the scroll wheel operates smoothly. The ergonomic shape has held its form, and the added weight still provides the same satisfying control I appreciated from day one.

Of course, over four years, there have been a few minor spills – a rogue splash of coffee here, a mist of soda there. Each time, I quickly unplugged the peripherals, carefully wiped them down with a slightly damp cloth, and allowed them to dry thoroughly before reconnecting. Thankfully, the Redragon S101 has proven surprisingly resilient to these minor accidents, continuing to function without any lasting damage.

Dust accumulation is inevitable in any home, my office is no exception. I’ve made it a habit to regularly dust both the keyboard and mouse with a soft brush or a can of compressed air. This simple step helps prevent dust from interfering with the key mechanisms and the mouse sensor, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.

In conclusion, the Redragon S101 has exceeded my expectations in terms of durability. It has weathered the daily grind of gaming, work, and life’s little accidents with remarkable resilience.  My Redragon S101: From Frag Fest to Final Exam – A Four-Year Journey

When I first unboxed the Redragon Updated S101 Programmable Gaming Keyboard and Mouse back in 2021, my primary focus was gaming. As an avid player, I was drawn to the promise of programmable keys and the responsive feel. My computer is more than just a gaming rig; it’s my work station, my communication hub, and sometimes even my study space. Over the past four years, the S101 has seamlessly transitioned between these roles, proving its worth far beyond the virtual battlefield and showcasing remarkable durability.

The initial setup of the Redragon S101 and mouse was a breeze. Plugging in the USB cables, the keyboard immediately lit up with its vibrant 6 RGB backlit effects, and the mouse pulsed with its 10 RGB lighting modes. The weighted feel of the mouse was instantly satisfying, offering a level of control I hadn’t experienced with my previous lightweight model. The keys on the keyboard had a satisfying tactile feedback, which was crucial for both intense gaming sessions and long hours of typing.

My early days with the Redragon S101 were dominated by exploring its gaming capabilities. The 5 Macro Record keys quickly became my best friends in various games. Being able to record complex key combinations with a simple press gave me a competitive edge and streamlined repetitive actions. In addition, the 26 non-conflict keys ensured that every command registered accurately, even during frantic button-mashing moments. The adjustable mouse DPI (800/1200/1600/2400/7200) allowed me to fine-tune the sensitivity for different game genres, from precise sniper shots to rapid-fire action.

But as the months turned into years, the Redragon S101 proved its mettle in other areas of my life. As I pursued online courses and tackled work projects, the comfortable key spacing and responsive feedback made long typing sessions much less fatiguing. The dedicated 4 Independent +12 Combination Multimedia Keys became incredibly convenient for controlling music and video playback without having to switch windows. I found myself relying on this keyboard for everything from writing essays to managing spreadsheets.

What truly stands out over these four years is the Redragon S101 durability of this combo. Why I’m Hooked

Let me tell you, Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro is a game-changer, especially if you have tile or laminate floors. It’s incredibly convenient because it sprays the cleaning solution and sucks up the dirty water all at once. No more lugging around a heavy bucket and mop! It makes cleaning so much faster and easier.

My Cleaning Routine

I’ve found that using about half a tank of water and a bit of cleaning solution is perfect for tackling multiple rooms. The dirty water goes into a separate tank, which is super easy to empty and rinse.

The Secret to Longevity: Maintenance!

After two years, I can’t stress this enough: you MUST clean the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro after every use! It does have a self-cleaning base, which is nice, but I prefer to give it a more thorough cleaning with my garden hose. This is especially important if you have pets. Trust me, you’ll want to get all that hair and debris out of the machine, especially from the roller and inside the collection tank. I also rinse the filter and other parts with the hose. It might sound like a lot, but it’s worth it to keep this machine running smoothly.

A Little Wear and Tear

After two years, the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro roller does show some wear, but it still works great. There’s also a “nubby thing” (I think it’s part of the brush roll) that’s starting to wear down, so I might need to replace that soon.

My Verdict: Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro Worth the Hype!

Even with the need for regular cleaning, the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro has been a worthwhile investment. It saves me so much time and effort compared to traditional mopping and sweeping. It’s made my life easier, and I’m still thrilled with its performance after two years. If you’re looking for a convenient and effective way to keep your floors sparkling, I highly recommend giving this a try!
