REVIEW: CRAFTSMAN 15A/3A Battery Charger & Maintainer

I got a CraftsMan 15A Battery Charger and Maintainer ( https://amzn.to/3Ant79t ) to fast charge my 12V AGM batteries. It also charges regular automotive 12 V and 6 V lead acid batteries and lithium batteries. For years, I have charged my AGM batteries with a Battery Tender 3A and 4A chargers ( https://amzn.to/3R56egG ) but it took an entire day to charge my car batteries. This Craftsman 15A / 3A does charged my 12V AGM 60 WH battery in about 2.5 hours.

CraftsMan 15A Battery Charger and Maintainer ( https://amzn.to/3Ant79t ) is pretty simple to use. Simply power up, connect the charge cables, select battery type, and charge mode and let it do its thing. The display will tell you the percentage charge.

Overall the CraftsMan 15A Battery Charger and Maintainer ( https://amzn.to/3Ant79t ) is a huge time saver of 2.5 hours compared to my older Battery Tender 3A and 4A chargers ( https://amzn.to/3R56egG ) that tood an entire day to charge my car batteries. Easy to use and wraps up the cords nicely.

Costco! Duracell 4 AMP Battery Charger + Maintainer $32 (Instant Savings – Normally $44)

Costco! Duracell 4 AMP 12 and 6 volt Battery Charger + Maintainer $32 (Instant Savings – Normally $44). There are other smart 12 / 6 volt battery charger and maintainer online : https://amzn.to/35a5vSJ . The interesting thing about this Duracell battery charger and maintainer is that it can charge 4A ( 12V lead acid, 12V Li-ion (LiFEPO4) or 1 A ( 6V lead acid ). It is also IP65 water resistant.

I bought a Battery Tender from Costco last year for my AGM and 12 volt batteries. Overall its good to have one if you have multiple cars or recreational vehicles and you do not want the battery to discharge and get damaged. Otherwise I normally disconnect the car battery if i know the car will not be used for a few weeks to prevent drain.

I use these to keep my other cars which are parked for a long period of time. For my Honda Accord and Dodge Cargo Van, I connect the leave the 3 amp Battery Tender on over the weekend and swap cars every week.  This keeps the cars 12 volt battery from failing and the cars are ready to drive if needed.
