Costco FIRST ALERT: Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms and Fire Extinguishers ON SALE

Costco restocked on their First Alert Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms and heavy duty fire extinguishers. This video is more of a update on the price and sale at my Costco.

Both the First Alert “Safety Path Light” and “Voice & Location Alerts” alarms https://amzn.to/3pXXvPc are currently sold in a two pack and on sale. The both have 10 year batteries. The Safety Path Light is a smoke alarm only with a LED lighting and is currently $29 for 2 pack. The Voice & Location has programable voice massage for the location of the alarm, and is currently $49 for 2 pack. I will install and make a review video later. Costco has the First Alert Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm on sale for $54! Its normally $69! Online has other smoke and carbon monoxide alarms for about $25 to $35 each: https://amzn.to/2VC4iyd , so this is a pretty good value. Considering buying separate smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarms would be about $50-$60.

First Alert 10-Year Smoke Alarm – Replacing only after 1.5 years …

So I am replacing my First Alert 10 Year Smoke Alarm only after 1.5 years … There are other brands of smoke detectors online: ( https://amzn.to/2Yy71uH ) . I got my First Alert 10 year smoke alarm in a 2 pack from Costco for about $30. I returned it only after 1.5 years as it started beeping 3 – end of life at 3 AM in the morning. I got my ladder and took it down to disable it.

So after returning it, I saw it was onsale for $22 so I just bought it again. Hopefully they updated the battery design so it will last the 10 years.
