HOW TO: Super Comfy CAMPING SETUP (ok… Glamping Setup)

I wanted my camping experience to be super comfortable with friends and family. So when they invited me I made my camp tent to be really comfortable. My setup includes aims to be be fast setup, spacious for changing inside the tent, warm during the night, great sleeping, night light and power station for charging and powering my tents lights and devices.

For shelter, I got a four person pop up tent ( https://amzn.to/3J7bJbe ) that took 5 minutes to setup. I got a four person pop up tent tent so I have space to change clothing and even do a sponge bath inside my tent if necessary. It basically like a big umbrella that pops and locks in place. Setup and take down is extremely easy.

Before putting up the tent, you need a waterproof tarp ( https://amzn.to/3Q0JUnj ) to protect your tent from the ground moisture and dirt. I have a camping axe ( https://amzn.to/3BjhvEU )to drive the tent and tarp anchors down. Tip: bring a small brush to cleaning and dusting dirt off your tent, and shoes before going into your tent. Its also good to during packing up to clean the tent before packing it.

For my sleeping setup, I like very warm sleep. I have a my trusty Coleman Sleeping Bag ( https://amzn.to/3PU5QjH ), and my 10+ year old Therm-a-Rest Basecamp Self-Inflating Camping Sleeping Pad ( https://amzn.to/3vgeLUO ). This year, I added a 4lb lightweight camping cot ( https://amzn.to/3RXTKYZ ) to sleep on. It was more comfortable to sleep on the cot than on a air mattress. I put my sleeping pad on top of my cot.

I got a full size self-Inflating sleeping mats ( https://amzn.to/3vhAKut ) to place on my tent floor. This was better than kneeing on the hard ground, especially when there may be rocks. Last time, my knees got bruised. Its also good if you have want more sleeping space or work space.

For lighting and power, I have a pair of usb rechargeable mosquito zappers ( https://amzn.to/3oxnUVk ). It works well as a purple night light and as a powerful tent and camp light. I also use a NOVOO 148wh Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3IaWQnO ) to charge all my lights and mobile cell phone devices. I already own a Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) for the camp group use to charge their phones. However, I wanted something smaller and easier to have in my tent at night. I use my 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual LED Power Switches ( https://amzn.to/3PCw7DA ) to distribute power.

Overall, my camping setup is really comfortable and “glamping” as this is not really roughing it, but enjoying the experience. Normally the tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag are the main requirements.

REVIEW: NOVOO 148wh Power Station! w/ 100W AC Inverter and 60W USB C PD output!

I just got this NOVOO 148wh Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3IaWQnO ). I already own a Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) which I use every other day to work on my laptop in my car, or to play my Xbox in my car when I am waiting or parking. However, I wanted something smaller and easier to hide in my car. so I got this Novoo 148 Wh Power Station and will be doing a review on it.

Why:
The NOVOO 148wh Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3IaWQnO ) is about half the physical size of Jackery Explorer 240. So I can hide this under my car seat when not in use. I realize that i only need about 1 hour of time on my laptop so the 100W AC inverter lasted about 1.5+hours for my low powered work laptop. It also has a flash light if I needed this for an emergency light. The USB ports and USB C with PD super fast charging was also great.

Charging:
It charges by the provided 15v AC adaptor or by USB C charging. This is my most liked feature from this powerstation as I have a Spigen [GaN Fast] 45W Super Fast Charger ( https://amzn.to/3yenozP ) it works really well with this unit.

Overall, NOVOO 148wh Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3IaWQnO ) will stay in my car for working for under 2 hours of work or play. The Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) will be used for situations needing a 200W AC inverter or if i plan to play or work for over 2 hours.

REVIEW / HOW TO: iGreely High Power Port (HPP) Connector Cables for Solar Panels / Blankets

If you bought a Gasless Generator with a High Power Port (HPP) solar input and dont know how to connect the red and black connector to your solar panel or blanket, you probably need to HPP connector cable. I bought and will review iGreely HPP – Y-Adapter to connector ( https://amzn.to/3y9vBqG ) and an HPP to 5.5 mm connector cable. ( https://amzn.to/3ktzK0B ).

In order to charge the Duracell Powerblock 500 with my existing Costco MASSIMO 100W solar blanket ( https://amzn.to/3s4a6nf ), I needed a iGreely 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC Female Power Plug Cable ( https://amzn.to/3ktzK0B ) to connect to the Duracell 500. I also bought a iGreely Y-Adapter to connect two 100 watt blankets to the HPP connector ( https://amzn.to/3y9vBqG ) . I have not tested it yet but will do so in the future.

II already own a Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) which I use every other day to work on my laptop in my car, or to play my Xbox in my car when I am waiting or parking. It charges great with the adapters provided by Massimo solar blanket ( https://amzn.to/3s4a6nf ).

The Duracell Powerblock 500 recharges fully on my porch in about 4-5 hours with 200W charge controller, 8-9 hours on my 100W solar panel. The 100W solar panel ( https://amzn.to/3s4a6nf ) needs a 2.1 MM DC connector / High Powe Port (HPP) adapter to 5 MM adaptor to charge the Duracell 500. iGreely 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC Female Power Plug Cable ( https://amzn.to/3ktzK0B )
