DIY: 2015 – 2019 Honda Fit Engine Air Filter Change. TIP: Watch out for the plastic clips!

Here is a quick how to video on changing out your 2013 – 2019 Honda Fit Engine Air Filter! BTW, my Youtube vlogs and DIYs may have associated affiliate links to products that I may earn from qualifying purchases.

Changing out the Honda Fit Engine air filter takes less than 10 minutes and is very simple. Just buy a Honda Fit Engine Air Filter ( https://amzn.to/36Umj1N ) (HONDA OEM Part Number is 17220-5R0-008 ) , open the hood, pop the 4 clips, shift the air box forward, notice the air filter alignment notch on the side, replace with the new air filter and you are done!

TIP: Watch out for the plastic air box clips! They snap in place on to the metal clip assembly and may easily pop out off. So work carefully, otherwise you will be searching the engine bay for a black plastic clip.

I put so many miles on my Honda’s that I use Honda OEM filters. I change out my engine air about 20,000 – 25,000 miles or its really dirty on my monthly check.
