REVIEW: BISSELL CROSSWAVE Pet Pro – 2 Years later…

My Two-Year Journey with the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro

As someone who values a clean home, especially with pets (cats and dogs), I’m always on the lookout for tools that make cleaning easier. After two years of using the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro, I wanted to share my experience.

What I Love:
Goodbye, Mop and Bucket! This thing is a game-changer. It sprays the cleaning solution and sucks up the dirty water, all in one go. No more lugging around a heavy bucket!

Tile Floor’s Best Friend:
My tile floors have never looked better. It gets into those grout lines like nothing else, and mud is no match for it.

Moves Like a Dream: Cleaning under furniture used to be a chore, but the swiveling head makes it a breeze.

Hard Floors and Rugs? No Problem!
I love that I can switch between hard floor and rug settings with ease.

Lightweight Champion: It’s surprisingly light, and I can easily carry it with one hand. [01:26]
Time Saver Extraordinaire: Mopping and sweeping used to take forever, but this has cut my cleaning time significantly.

Built to Last:
Even after two years, the main roller brush is still going strong. [02:40]
Things to Keep in Mind:

Cleanliness is Key: You must clean this machine after every use. Otherwise, it won’t perform its best, and it won’t last.

Hair, Hair Everywhere: If you have pets (or long hair yourself), be prepared to remove hair from the brush and the dirty water tank. It’s a bit of a process.

Cleaning Ritual: I usually take apart the dirty water tank and rinse everything with a hose. It’s a bit involved, but necessary. I do this after every use, but at least once or twice a month.
Wear and Tear: A small part on the roller assembly is starting to show its age, so I might need to replace it soon.
Solution Savvy: I’ve found that using half the recommended amount of cleaning solution works just fine for me.
Self-Cleaning…Sort Of: It has a self-cleaning feature, but I still prefer to give it a good manual cleaning.

My Verdict:

The Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro is “well worth it” in my book. Yes, you have to clean it regularly, and yes, dealing with the hair can be a bit annoying. But the time and effort it saves me in cleaning my floors make it an invaluable tool. If you’re looking for a convenient and effective way to keep your floors clean, I highly recommend it!

REVIEW: Cordless Stick Vacuum $129 – Best Feature: No Trigger for MAX Power!

If your wondering if a generic cordless stick vacuum ( https://amzn.to/3mAJ9EB ) is worth it, then your in luck cuz i just reviewed this one that i have been using for the past 2 weeks. I will do a review and unboxing. It costs about $120-$140 and is a fraction of the cost of a SHARK Cordless PET PLUS Stick Vacuum – ( https://amzn.to/3I8cuix ) i bought a few months ago.

Our Dyson DC07 ( https://amzn.to/3sAQ7vo ) floor vacuum after over 18 years started to fail. So we went to and got a SHARK Cordless PET PLUS Stick Vacuum – ( https://amzn.to/3I8cuix ). We liked the light weight and convenient aspect of a cordless stick vacuum. I gave the Shark to my parents and got this $129 generic cordless stick vacuum ( https://amzn.to/3mAJ9EB )

This does not remotely compare to the high quality Dyson Stick Vacuums V10 or V12 ( https://amzn.to/3aHefHY ). However for a fraction of the price, it works well for the price and provides good value. If you have wood or laminate floors, then this vacuums well, has good suction. The only draw backs is finding a replacement battery or internal HEPA filters parts for this after a year of use.

Here are the pros and cons of this $100 – $140 stick vacuum unit cordless stick vacuum ( https://amzn.to/3mAJ9EB )
PROS:
Lightweight.
easy to handle.
no silly trigger to need to hold.
good suction.
good battery life about 20-30 minutes of medium to high power vacuum.
Simple to maintain and take apart to clean roller and entire vaccum system.
Can be stored vertical and saves space.

CONS:
Not sure were to get a spare 29V battery.
Charge time in 4-5 hours for 20 – 45 minutes of use.
Small waste container capacity.
HEPA filter is washable but replacement if broken may be hard to find.

Overall, the SHARK Cordless PET PLUS Stick Vacuum – ( https://amzn.to/3I8cuix ) is a great vacuum for the small home or apartment. But this generic cordless stick vacuum ( https://amzn.to/3mAJ9EB ) one costs nearly half the price with similar results. You get great accessories for many cleaning situations. The suction is good for a stick vacuum. If you want a larger more powerful vacuums then get a upright.

HOW TO: SHARK Stick Vacuum – Filter & Roller Cleaning! Monthly Maintenance Routine!

After 2 months of using my Costco SHARK Cordless PET PLUS Stick Vacuum – ( https://amzn.to/3I8cuix ), I have been cleaning the foam and hepa filters and rollers every month and they are DIRTY! To maintain the performance of this vacuum, it only takes about 5 minutes to clean.

The floor attachment roller is very well designed to prevent hair and other items to be tangled in the roller. I noticed there were dust build up in the crevices and plastic nooks. Brushing and vacuuming all the dust helps the suction efficiency. You can also check and remove for any stuck fiber or debris from the roller and path.

You can remove the two sponge filters and clean them with water per the Shark owners manual, however I found using a drop of dish washing soap removes most of the trapped dirt faster and more completely than just a water rinse. It is evident in the darker water. Squeeze dry the sponge filters and let them completely dry before replacing.

I also clean the cone filter, however I only just rinse it with water and let it air dry completely.

Then clear waste bin also builds up dust along the edges and makes the case look gross. I rinse out and shake out all the dust buildup. Three rinses usually removes all the dust build up. I use a microfiber towel to dry and wipe the inside before letting it air dry completely before reinstalling.

Overall, the SHARK Cordless PET PLUS Stick Vacuum – ( https://amzn.to/3I8cuix ) is a great vacuum for the small home or apartment. You get great accessories for many cleaning situations. The suction is good for a stick vacuum. After 2 months of use, I find it very useful every day.
