I’ve programmed them with frequently used shortcuts for my design software, repetitive text snippets for emails, and even quick access to specific folders I use daily. This has saved me countless clicks and keystrokes, significantly boosting my productivity. The ability to execute complex actions with a single button press is just as valuable for work as it is for gaming.

I’ve found so many creative ways to use their programmable features to streamline my household tech interactions. For example, I’ve programmed some of the keyboard’s macro keys to instantly launch my streaming services – one key for Netflix, another for YouTube, and a third for my smart home control app. It’s so much faster than navigating through menus with a remote or clicking through desktop icons.

The mouse’s programmable buttons are equally handy. I’ve assigned one of its side buttons to mute/unmute my smart speaker, so I can quickly cut off the music when someone calls without fumbling for my phone or yelling across the room. Another button is programmed to open my digital recipe book application, which is a lifesaver when my hands are messy in the kitchen. I needed a backlit keyboard and mouse to work in a dark room so I got a FLAGPOWER Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo ( https://amzn.to/3mSwZGo ) for about $20, however the ENTER key was shorter than a normal keyboard. So my pinky constantly missed the Enter Key.

I bought a REDRAGON S101 Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo ( https://amzn.to/2Q1c9cb ) for about $35. Its also a wired USB backlit full size keyboard and a weighted mouse that can be customized, but has quick keys and a media control buttons. The included mouse has customizable with removable weights!

I like the full size keys and key travel. It also also me to sit further from my 17 inch MSI GE75 Gaming laptop (https://amzn.to/3elQQKD) that i use as a video editor. I connect it to my USB 3.0 Hub ( https://amzn.to/3uQb9q3 ) and typically use my Logitech Anywhere Wireless Mouse ( https://amzn.to/3dnljsh )The keyboard and mouse is good quality for the price point.

Its all plastic construction and lightweight, but for $20 its very comfortable to use. It has 3 color combinations, a breathing light mode, and dimmer for the lights.

The mouse has scroll wheel button, side page up and down buttons, and 6 colors switchable and continuously breathes. Again, its also comfortable and functional.

Overall this is worth while if you dont want to type on your laptop keyboard and need a responsive backlit keyboard and mouse for your home office or hobby gaming. Its a very good value.
