Costco! Lotus Foods Millet & Brown RICE RAMEN! 10 Pack! $9!!! REVIEW

Costco has Lotus Foods Millet & Brown RICE RAMEN in a 10 Pack box for $9!!! This is also sold online: https://amzn.to/2EgXDEn .

I bought a 10 pack to try. It’s interesting to note that this Rice Ramen is gluten free and organic. Good for folks who need a gluten free diet. At $1 per ramen, this is pricer than my 24 for $7 Nissin Cup Noodles ( https://amzn.to/2V8YMDN ) . Without the gluten it is missing a bounce factor in the noodle. The noodles and Red Miso soup tastes fine and is less filling than the traditional instant ramen.

Overall it is a good soup base and is quick to cook. It took about 4 to 5 minutes in the microwave to cook. I added ham and spinach to my ramen for protein and iron. The Miso soup base has some what strong smelling sea weed. I think its good tasting but my friends had different tastes.

Costco! Comvita / Melora – Manuka Honey! $36!!!

Sweet Costco now has COMVITA  and Melora New Zealand UMF Certified Manuka honey on sale! Comvita Manuka Honey UMF 10+ (17 oz), Comvita Manuka Honey UMF 5+ in a HUGE (35 oz) and Melora Manuka Honey UMF 5+ (2.2 lb) are all priced at $36.99!   They are similarly priced at on Amazon ( http://amzn.to/2FLkQ39 )    for Comvita and  ( https://amzn.to/2tgjLZj ) for Melora. I found the Comvita brand in Northern California.  while I found the Melora brand in Southern California. Costco just restocked Melora New Zealand 10+ UMF Manuka honey on sale! The Melora Manuka Honey is 10+ UMF + (1.1 lb or 500g ) are all priced at $31.99! They are similarly priced at on Amazon ( https://amzn.to/2tgjLZj ) for Melora.

I current eat about 1 to 3 jars of Manuka honey every year and found I prefer 10+ UMF honey more as it has a good balance of rich sweet flavor, aroma, and texture. I noticed that the higher the UMF the denser the honey and flavor. 10+ was a good balance.

I bought a lot of Manuka honey over the years, most have been from Costco and Amazon. I made a taste test video prior.

Air Fryer Fun+Tasty #08: Perfect BACON in 8 mins! + Cinnamon Toast in 3 mins!!!

My girlfriend and I started cooking with the Gourmia Digital Air Fryer 6 QT we got from Costco. There are other 6 quart air fryers onsale online: https://amzn.to/2UfyOig .  

Today we tried making a whole package of uncured organic BACON in our air fryer.  All the bacon came out PERFECT in 8 mins! We got our uncured smoked  bacon from our local supermarket .  We also made some quick  cinnamon toast in 3 mins!!!  They sell uncured bacon on Amazon too ( https://amzn.to/2RpyEGt ) if you want then delivered.

You will need the following along with your 6 Qt Air Fryer:
– Uncured Organic Smoked Bacon  – 12 – 16 oz package or online ( https://amzn.to/2RpyEGt )
-Cinnamon ( https://amzn.to/2BTiew6 )
– Sugar ( https://amzn.to/2BZki5R )
– Butter ( https://amzn.to/2BSCptW )
– Silicone Kitchen Tongs ( https://amzn.to/2BIpz1z )

Quick Instructions:

Perfect Bacon in 8 Mins !

Unpack the cold or room temperature bacon.
Pre heat air fryer for 400 degrees.
Place bacon in air fryer and cook for 8 minutes at 400 degrees!

Plate and serve with other vegetables and food.

Cinnamon Toast in 3 mins!!!
Cut bread to fit in to the air fryer.
Butter the bread on top side.
Layer with cinnamon and sugar.
Pre heat oven for 400 degrees.
Cook in air fryer for 400 degrees for 3 minutes.

– Clean air fryer with dish soap and sponge. Rinse and dry.

It was simple to prepare fast food that works great with an air fryer.  Perfect for small families or snacking. No hot oil splatters or burns from cooking in a pan or wok.  Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more Air Fryer Fun + Tasty episodes.
