One “creative use” I’ve found is for creating a dedicated, high-quality “analog chain” for specific listening sessions. Beyond just playing records, I’ve integrated a high-quality reel-to-reel tape deck (with its own internal preamp turned off if possible) through the Fosi Box X2 (using its line-level input if available, or just keeping the entire analog chain minimal). While it’s a phono preamp, simply having it as a dedicated, high-quality physical component in my analog signal path contributes to the “ritual” of pure analog listening, even if it’s not actively amplifying the tape signal. One of my most adventurous uses for the Ninja Crispi was during a glamping trip. I have a portable power station, and the Crispi, with its relatively efficient power draw, became our campsite’s star chef. One of my favorite “other uses” for the Redragon S101 is in music production. I’m an amateur musician who dabbles in digital audio workstations (DAWs). I’ve programmed the keyboard’s macro keys to act as shortcuts for common DAW functions like “record,” “play/pause,” “undo,” and “quantize.” This allows me to keep my hands on my MIDI controller or instrument while still having quick access to essential software commands, greatly speeding up my workflow and reducing interruptions to my creative flow.

For photo and video editing, the Redragon S101 mouse’s programmable buttons are incredibly useful. I’ve assigned zoom in/out functions to the side buttons, and a middle click can toggle specific tools in my editing software.
