REVIEW: Tool Daily Foam Cannon for Pressure Washers – Using REGULAR Car Wash Soap!

Hey everyone, Sterling W. here, and today I want to talk about something that has completely changed my car washing game: the Tool Daily Foam Cannon. If you’re like me, you love that fresh-from-the-dealership look, but you don’t always have the time or money to get a professional detail. Well, what if I told you that you can get that same level of clean in your own driveway?

I recently got my hands on a new foam cannon, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. The one I have is a pretty standard setup: a bottle, a nozzle, and a few attachments. It even came with five different nozzles for various angles and a quick-connect for my pressure washer.

Getting Started: What’s in the Box and How to Use It

The beauty of Tool Daily Foam Cannon is its simplicity. There are just two main controls: a dial on the front to adjust the spray from a direct stream to a wide fan, and a dial on top to control the water-to-soap ratio. Pro-tip: for the thickest foam, you’ll want to turn the top dial all the way to the minus (-) setting. [00:42]

The Perfect Foam: My Secret Formula

Now, for the fun part: the soap. The Tool Daily Foam Cannon bottle holds about 1000ml, and I’ve been using Meguiar’s Wash and Wax. After a little experimenting, I found the sweet spot. I use about 100ml of soap to about 700-800ml of water. [01:30] Just give it a good shake to mix it all up, and you’re ready to go. [02:14] This mixture is usually enough for me to wash two cars, so it’s pretty efficient.

Don’t Forget the Cleanup!

This is a crucial step that a lot of people miss. After you’re done making your car look amazing, you have to clean your tools. Just run some clean water through the foam cannon and pressure washer to rinse out any leftover soap. [02:41] This will keep your equipment in top shape for your next wash.

So, if you’re looking to up your car wash game, I can’t recommend a foam cannon enough. It’s easy to use, affordable, and the results speak for themselves.

REVIEW: Thiswork Car Vaccum Cleaner with Accessory Kit

I keep my car very easy to clean with custom 3d Spider floor mats ( https://amzn.to/3g4TqpV ). ITs been 3 years with the floor mats and they are sophisticated and modern, while protecting my carpeting.

When deep cleaning many cars or REALLY dirty mud and dirt, I prefer using my Craftsman 2 Gallon 1.5 HP Wet Dry Shop Vac ( https://amzn.to/3g2Ur1A ). As it can vacuum heavy water and dirt much more effectively.

Overall, this is a great little car vac with Hepa filter that has been convenient for cleaning up dirt and stuff in the car. This kit pretty much has all the accessories for regular cleaning. For heavier or wet cleaning get a wet / dry vacuum.

DIY: Tire Dressing with a Paint Brush + REVIEW: Armor All Protectant (OLD and NEW formula)

I have been using the same bottle 64 oz of ARMOR ALL Protectant on my tires to give it that shine for years. The original formula had the look and consistency of milk and smelled very plastic like, however it had a lot of glossy shine that i loved. Last week I ran out of that milky super shiny and bought a new bottle of Armor All ( https://amzn.to/3264UAR ) however the formula has changed!

The new formula is more of a gel or suspension. The gloss and shine is not as prominent and it has less odor. I like that its less chemical smelling, however i miss the super gloss look. Take a look at the video for the comparison.

DIY: Using a paint brush to apply Tire Dressing
So i typically do not spray protectant but rather paint tire dressing onto my tires with a 2 inch paint brush ( https://amzn.to/2FLSpkw ). I do so because of the following reasons:

  1. Effective reach in tight spots and tire details.
  2. i don’t like wasting sponges – i have been using the same 2 inch paint brush for over six years!
  3. Fast application and NO over spray onto the wheels or fenders.
  4. Does not waste product
  5. Less packaging waste into landfills : especially from aerosol products or foam products or single use wipes.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS:
-Wash and dry car and wheels – shake the tire dressing liquid – pour 1 oz into shallow can – paint 1 or 2 coats onto tires with 2 inch paint brush. –

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:
I usually put tire dressing after the car wash, so the car, wheels, tires are clean. The tires also has a bit of moisture so the protectant mixes on the surface of the tire for more shine. It still gets absorbed by the tire.

I shake and mix the bottle and I put about half an ounce to one ounce of protectant into a shallow can. This will be enough for all four tires. With the original milk-like ARMOR ALL, I painted a coat on each tire before adding a second coat. This gives it a spectacular glossy wet shine!
The new formula, only needs one coat as its more like a gel. Once it dries, it doesn’t have the super shine, but rather looks like a clean rubber with a bit of gloss. It still looks good, just not wet any more.

I dont use ArmorAll in my interior, as in the past it used to smell and cause glare. I have not used the new low gloss formula on my new car dash. I have NOT used protectant on my interior for the past 12+ years, moreover i live in sunny southern California and have not had a sun damaged dash on any of my cars. The newer car materials may be more resistant to UV light. I also use a large windshield sun shade ( https://amzn.to/2XGLtzb ) when parking in the sun light.
