Unboxing and review video of our LA CROSSE 12 inch Atomic Wall Clock – WT-3129B ( https://amzn.to/31lqqDK) .There are other digital and analogue atomic clocks on line ( https://amzn.to/2Vqw17R ). We have over 3 La Crosse Atomic Wall clocks and recently got this one for our lower guest room. Atomic clocks are very easy to setup and are completely automatic. It relies on an atomic radio signal generated by NIST. However, depending on the building structure and the ability to received the radio signal you may get errors like how we did. Our lower guest room atomic clock was always out of sync with the NIST signal due to the building structure. It worked perfectly next to the window, but on the all it received infrequent signal that the time was always off. The clock was working fine in other rooms. To resolve this, we used a regular quartz battery operated wall clock ( https://amzn.to/2YBGmQm )
LA CROSSE 12 inch Atomic Wall Clock ( https://amzn.to/31lqqDK ) was a good clock and for about $20 it was worth it. You just unscrew the thumbscrews in the back, insert a AA 1.5v battery and it automatically set the time for you! We chose La Crosse Technology WT-3129B model as it had two additional battery slots to allow it to be ran for up to 3 years! It took about 5-10 minutes to auto calibrate .
On manual mode, setting the time was really slow as you can only move the clock hands by minutes to manually set the time. Again, due to the in frequent signal strenght of our room, it did not keep the correct time. Again we owned two other atomic clocks for over 2 years now and love them in our other rooms.
At the end it all depends on location of the clock and signal strength.
