CENTER POINT – Dual Color – Multi-Tactical Sight – UNBOXING ONLY

This is a quick unboxing and features (only) review video of the Center Point Dual Color Multi Tac Sight ( https://amzn.to/3b2QlC7 ). Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

I have been wanting to buy a red dot sight for a long time. I choose the Center Point Multi-Tac sight as four different red or green reticle options designs, uses a CR2032 battery (https://amzn.to/2XrFmOP), includes weaver style, rail-mountable rings (though its the wrong size for my air rifles), includes flip-open lens caps, and its fairly inexpensive at $45. For more info on sight and the manual and safety precautions please visit the Crosman.com site.

I found out that currently do not have any mounting rings, so i used Gaffers Tape (https://amzn.to/3c7iY0Z ). I temporary tried it on my Nerf Rival Atlas XVI-1200 Blaster ( https://amzn.to/2ySNf5B ) and it worked pretty well. I then attached it onto my Nerf Rival Knock Out XX-100 blaster pistol (https://amzn.to/2wyR7YE ) . And i loved the style of it.

PROS:

  • Bright Red / Green dot / tac sight
    -low cost at $45
  • Comes with flip covers and mounts.

CONS:
-bulky unit limits visibility
-small objective

Overall: I wanted to own one for fun. Its ok to use on my pistol but for my rifle i need to have time to try this out on the field. Over i love the look of this on my Crosman Vigilante air pistol. it was on sale so I bought it. Is it worth it? I am not sure yet as i have not fully tested the accuracy and handling yet. Stay tuned next week for that video.

CENTER POINT – Dual Color – Multi-Tac Sight – UNBOXING

This is a quick unboxing and features (only) review video of the Center Point Dual Color Multi Tac Sight ( https://amzn.to/3b2QlC7 ). Full detailed review next week. The air rifles , air guns, and Nerf blasters in this video are CO2 or spring based and not firearms. And in the United States you need to be 16 years old to buy one at a retail store or online. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

I have been wanting to buy a red dot sight for a long time. Mainly due to the fact i shoot in short ranges and dont need a 9x scope on my Gamo Swarm Maxxim air rifle ( https://amzn.to/3b3Gj3y ) to plink in my back yard.

I found out that it doesnt fit my Gamo air rifle due to the incorrect mounting rings, so i used Gaffers Tape (https://amzn.to/3c7iY0Z ) i got online to temporary mount it to my Gamo scope rings. On my air rifle i dont know if I like it too much. I have yet to bring it to the back yard because it still raining. When i do i will make a full video.

Seeing this site was meant for crossbows and shotguns, I temporary tried it on my Nerf Rival Atlas XVI-1200 Blaster ( https://amzn.to/2ySNf5B ) and it worked pretty well. I then attached it onto my Nerf Rival Knock Out XX-100 blaster pistol (https://amzn.to/2wyR7YE ) . And i loved the style of it.

I then tried it on my Crosman SR357 full metal BB revolver ( https://amzn.to/2xZNtXU ) and Crosman Vigilante ( https://amzn.to/34m5AUo ). It looked good on the SR357. It looked AWESOME on the Vigilante. Even thought the Vigilante was bought years ago and this sight TOTALLY renewed my interest in this air gun. It looks AMAZING!! Its CO2 based pellet and BB revolver. While the Vigilante is fun, accurate, and very durable over the 5 years i owned it, the weaver mounts fit the sight perfectly and made the look weight feel great!. I am planning to keep this sight on this pistol.

PROS:

  • Bright Red / Green dot / tac sight
    -low cost at $45
  • Comes with flip covers and mounts.

CONS:
-bulky unit limits visibility
-small objective

Review: Nerf Rival Knockout XX-100 – Agile & Fast (90 FPS) Blaster

I got the Nerf Rival Knockout XX-100 ( https://amzn.to/3bSIua9 ) for about $10. I am going to unbox , review, and speed test this new blaster. Overall its a fun well built Nerf foam blaster. It shoots Nerf Rival foam balls very fast at about 90 feet per second! To test this I used a indoor Chronograph tool ( https://amzn.to/2UFjIEH ) to test actual speed of the blaster. Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

The small blaster comes with a 2 foam balls, but can store 4 balls on each side of the blaster. Overall its quite light weight but heavy duty and noisy due to the spring and slam action to prime the spring. Its a single shot ball and reloading can be done from the breach. I find it easier just to push it in from the muzzle. If your playing with friends, loading from the breach you may be at a disadvantage as it will take more hand actions and time to reload.

Using the Chronograph, the foam balls travel at about 90 – up to 99 feet per second! On average its about 90 – 93 feet per second which is better than the specifications on the box. If i load from the front of the blaster, pushing the foam ball 3 inches into the barrel, it averages the same as feet per second as the loading regularly. However if you only push the ball 2 inches in your velocity will drop below 90 feet per second. I ran 3 tests to confirm this on my chronograph.

The Knockout XX-100 is loud as with most Nerf Rival blasters. Priming, hard plastic, and spring action are pretty noisy. If you are planning to play after hours, your roommates or friends will hear you. Overall the other Nerf Rivals blasters ( https://amzn.to/3bNws1L ) have strong springs in order to have the higher flight speed.

I found that the Altas XVI-1200 is very accurate without a sight as the barrel positioned near the top of the blaster. It comes with a tactical rail to add accessories This is a great addition to my Atlas XVI -1200 blaster i reviewed and modded earlier this week, as it is agile in tight space play indoors.

Overall Nerf Rival Knockout XX-100 is very fun to play indoors and makes for a great agile blaster in close play. The complex single loading is limiting factor but does not take away much from such a great Nerf Rival blaster. The grip is very big even for adult hands. The spring pull is a bit heavier than a Kronos but should be fine for 14 year olds to adult players.
