DIY: Making your oil filter – FILTER MORE! with magnets!

After changing my oil, I add high powered magnets on my oil filter.
Using small high powered magnets ( https://amzn.to/2MHMHRp ) I can probably trap ferrous metallic engine dust in on my car’s oil filter, so every time I change my oil filter it will also remove any ferrous slit or dust. Its like those devices that would see on those commercial on TV or you can think of it similar to those drain plug magnets they sell at the auto parts store…except you have much more surface area. . Not sure how effective this is but it simple and not permanent and it only costs about $5-10 in neodymium magnets ( https://amzn.to/2MHMHRp ) .

DIY: Honda Accord Lower Grill Radiator Screen!!!

After a  rock hit my 2007 Honda Accord air condition condenser / radiator, it cost me about $400 to have it repaired.  So to prevent it from happening again, I fashioned a DIY grill using some extra expanded sheet screen metal ( https://amzn.to/2M7VAo3 ) , sheet metal cutters (https://amzn.to/2Jyg0YS ) and car door edge guards ( https://amzn.to/2Jj982e ). Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

I basically traced the outer air dam of the lower grill on each side then made a straight line on the bottom.  After cutting the grill out of the sheet screen, I heated the car door edge guards make it easier  to lined the sharp edges.
Remove the license plate bracket from the Accord with a 11 mm socket wretch .
Fit the cut grill and zip ties . Then paint the grill with Plastidip .   Simple diy!

Costco! Fresh Cherries – 2 lb for $12!!! Is it worth it? How to select sweet cherries!

Wow! At $6 a pound I hesitated a bit before buying this. But it was super sweet , firm, and crisp! Almost as fresh as the farmers market variety and good quality.   I cant believe Amazon doesn’t carry fresh cherries with their grocery fruits. All they have are dried and other cherry products: https://amzn.to/2IqOs3R
