Costco DURACELL PowerSource 660 – 660 Whr 1440 Watt Inverter $499

Costco has a DURACELL PowerSource 660 – 660 Whr 1440 Watt Inverter $499. There are many other power stations sold online have higher capacity AND are more portable: https://amzn.to/2Kp4NMV .

This is a power station that is running on sealed lead acid (SLA) cell batteries with a 1440 W inverter. It’s called a “gasless generator”, as it can be run without the NOISE, exhaust, fumes of a traditional gas generator. It is safe to run indoors. Perfect for emergency power outages.

It has versatile charging options, as it can be charged with 110V AC, 12V car battery, or solar with the built in solar charge controller. For outputs it has two USB 3.1A outputs, 4 AC outputs, a 12 volt car plug out put. Pretty simple and straight forward. Due to the SLA batteries, makes this unit is larger and heavier than a comparable lithium ion battery version.

This is a good solution for camping off grid, backup emergency power, or for solar projects. I only saw it at one Costco so this item may be rare or difficult to find. I bought larger Duracell Inverter for emergencies and did a unboxing here: https://youtu.be/KYfHFFUEZz4
I just hook it to my car’s 12 volt.

REVIEW: 10 Wheel Stair Climber Hand Truck $99

So, I needed a compact hand truck that was compact and can handle stairs so I bought one of these stair climbing hand trucks with 10 wheels ( https://amzn.to/3lI3dDe ) .

Works well for my purpose. I got this folding stair climbing hand truck to move 5 gallon water jugs from the car to my pantry. I also have been using it to move 5 gallon buckets of collected shower warm up water to water my garden from my bathroom. It works well going up and down staircases There are swivel wheels on the platform to be able to rotate the cart 360 degrees.

While the product description says it can handle about 178 lbs of weight, however the most I have used it for was about 85 lbs or so. Its relatively light weight and folds quickly and compactly when not in use. It comes with the swivel wheels, bungie cord, cargo bag, a small screwdriver, wrench, and nuts and bolt to mount the swivel wheels. With the wheels on, the cart rests on the two hind wheels and 4 of the 6 stair climbing wheels at an angle ready to load stuff. It is stable when at an angle, even with a load.

PRO:

  • Works on staircases going up and down.
  • Swivel wheels are included if you need to the cart to rotate 360 degrees in tight places.
  • With swivel wheels mounted, it stands at a slight angle with 6 wheels.
  • Folds easily for storage
  • Light weight

CON:

  • Swivel wheels do not have locks so the cart may roll away. ( You need to place it at the resting angle and place weight onto the center of the platform.
  • No English instructions in the box. ( it should be pretty easy to setup by pictures alone, otherwise just take a look at my video for setup. I did a unboxing, setup, and use. )

Overall well worth it to move 5 gallon bottles, buckets, coolers, and other heavy items that don’t have any wheels. This would be good to bring during camping or if you need a light foldable compact hand truck to move things from your car or room.
