ARGH! First time using Nespresso!!! @ 5 AM… ARGH ! WRONG PLUG!!!

First time using Nespresso!!! @ 5 AM… ARGH ! WRONG PLUG!!! The hotel plugged the espresso maker on the lamp plug, took me 30-45 minutes to trouble shoot and get it working. The espresso was amazing and strong compared to k-cup machines. I am planning to get one (https://amzn.to/2JWeWMA ) due to the size of the device and that i love the taste of the Nespresso capsules ( https://amzn.to/2SB8j6u ) and drinking the foam topping. For the cost of an espresso capsule is a little more than 65 cents compared to ordering a espresso for $3 – $4. This is a really good value.

$2,200 HONDA WINDSHIELD CRACK – 2 WEEK BackOrder, REPAIR and CALIBRATION !!!

So a my 2018 had a rock hit the edge of the windshield. Over night the crack grew from one inch to across my windshield to the passenger side. That small crack cost about 2 weeks of driving another car due to a nationwide backorder in Honda windshields and about a total of $2,200 to repair!

Apparently with Honda Sensing and other car safety assist systems with radar and cameras mounted behind the windshield, it requires original Honda glass and Honda dealer calibration after the new glass install. Some glass installers are able to calibrate the camera to new glass but they needed the programming and patterns. According to my auto glass installer and my Honda dealer, the windshield was back-ordered nationwide for Honda Clarity and Accords. I had to drive my other car for about 2 weeks for the parts to arrive. /

Both qoute replacement costs to be about $1500-1700 for the glass and materials, $250 for install, and $250+ for calibration… WOW so its about $2,200 for a new windshield! That was one expensive windshield. I removed my dash cam system and made a quick DIY on how to remove dash came mount ( https://youtu.be/TkvI8Zla6Us ) .

Many new cars have these camera and radar systems installed for safety systems. With this in mind, I hope glass specific to these safety camera systems come down in price in production and installation costs. Imagine a budget Civic or Corollla having to pay a hefty $2000 windshield repair bill…. YIKES!

Unbox & REVIEW: Amazon! $13 Sportneer Metal Mini Bike Pump – ARGH!!!!

Still searching for a better small bike pump for my Dahon folding bike. I bought this Sportneer bike pump from Amazon ( https://amzn.to/2LFzHie ) it had good reviews on Amazon. However, the pump action was really weak and difficult to pump event for a 65 PSI 20 inch bicycle tire. I eventually bought and kept a Schwinn Mini Floor Pump (Vid Review: https://youtu.be/ExY17BWAsNA – Item: https://amzn.to/2XrLnXZ ) It may have been larger but it was very easy to connect and pump.

Pros: It looked great and was very compact. All metal tube , handle , and connectors. The metal nipple connector was a screw on type. It was connected with a extending flexible plastic tube to the pump making it easy to screw out onto the tire. The kit came with the mini pump, frame attachment, tire levers and a peel and stick patch kit.

Cons: The metal handle was cold and was not comfortable to pump. It was also very difficult to pump the tire pressure pushed back into the tube as if the one way check valve did not work. I believe mine may have been defective. I wasnt able to pump my bicycle tire so i will be returning this item.
