Weighing at about 23 lbs its one of the lightest folding bikes produced. I have owned this bike new since 2008, and it has been my primary bike when i travel or for leisure riding. It was very affordable compared to a custom brompton or bike friday and provided a lot of value for the cost.
I love this bike and bring it everywhere i travel. It does not require much maintenance and of the 8 years i owned it this was the first time i had to change a tire!
For touring, I replaced the seat for a more comfortable seat, added a bike computer, added a light, added my tool kit storage, bottle cage, and a LARGE rack ( Ibera Bike Rack : https://amzn.to/2M4xVnp ) to hold planniers! the original racks were too small and my feet hit the planniers when biking… enjoy like and subscribe!
