Canon SX740 HS – Screen Failed!

Update! I got the Canon SX740 HS 40x optical zoom for my trip to Cambodia. The Canon SX740 is sold online for about $379- $400: https://amzn.to/2YzuA6n . I also brought my Samsung Galaxy phone: https://amzn.to/2RgLpAD and Olympus Tough camera ( https://amzn.to/2LSbFCc ) on this trip.

After 2 weeks of use, the flippy screen doesn’t turn on. It worked fine in Hong Kong, but once i got to Cambodia, the screen failed. The camera still shoots, its just the screen doesn’t work. i tried resetting the battery, but nothing worked.

i was in Angkor Wat wait for the sunrise at 4 AM, when i realized my camera screen didn’t turn on. so i shot everything in wide without at viewfinder! I got decent shots, but its disappointing that this camera failed so easily.

I also brought my Olympus Tough camera ( https://amzn.to/2LSbFCc ) and Samsung smart phone ( https://amzn.to/2RgLpAD ) that still work.

I now reach for my Samsung S9 for fast selfies and photos. My Olympus TG3 for travel, macro and underwater photography. My Sony A77 DSLR for high detail photo and video shoots.

DJI – MAVIC 2 Zoom – UNBOXING! $1,000!!! SHOULD I BUY IT?

A friend of mine just lent me his MAVIC 2 Zoom ( https://amzn.to/2KQESv7 ) to unbox. I REALLY wanted to buy drone to make videos and fly. I was able to fly it and he lent it to me for the month to play and do videos. He offered to sell it to me for $1000 if i wanted it.

He also lent me a Mavic Air ( https://amzn.to/2IJtVZP ) to unbox in the next video. The first thing i did was buy a simple $30 drone case ( https://amzn.to/2Ricwv4 ) so i can take it out with all the accessories. I used a 128 GB Sandisk Extreme Micro SD ( https://amzn.to/2RhwfLk )

It was very stable and pretty simple to control drone as its so packed with technology and sensors for flight. I was able to fly it indoors very easily and look forward to trying it outdoors.

Overall i love the control and the video footage quality. Should I buy this for $1,000 or I will decide out after I play and compare with the Mavic Air which he lent me as well.

Costco! Mazama KAPKA Hydration Pack $26!!! ($10 OFF – $16) REVIEW!

Costco has the Mazama KAPKA Hydration Pack for $26. I bought it yesterday for $10 off at $16. Similar Mazama Hydration packs online sell for about $35-$45: https://amzn.to/31kbzae

It was an excellent value for a backpack and hydration bladder for $16!!! Considering the bladder alone would have cost about $15 ( https://amzn.to/2MAIP9V ) . I also bought a High Sierra Hydration Pack for $20 at Costco to compare : https://youtu.be/FBkNee9ZOJk

I had new hydration pack that was larger than my bicycling hydration backpack. This is a hydration pack with a lot of added features including a innovative 3 liter bladder that has a handle and wide open area for easy cleaning.
