REVIEW: COSTCO WOOZOO Globe Fan COMPARED! $34

I picked up a WOOZOO Globe Fan ( https://amzn.to/3sLNAxw ) that Oscillates Circulates for an amazing $34 at Costco. I will compare it against my Vornado 460 room fan ( https://amzn.to/30bxZuW ) that i have been using for years.

The WOOZOO globe fan has several advantages over the Vornado 460. It still pushes air current about across the room at about 16 feet away. It can be angled at a angle. Overall its a very quiet fan. It has a timer, breeze mode, most importantly it has oscillation and circulation functions to move air around the room very effectively. The Vornado is noisy in comparison and hard to position the angle.


Is it worth it? Yes for a personal room fan that doesn’t take up much space and comes with an remote, it is a terrific value. It is also very quiet and circulates air in the room very well. I only saw it in white at Costco but they have a black color online ( https://amzn.to/3sLNAxw ). The shell is removable for cleaning. Controls are easy to access on both the remote and on the fan.

I basically take my bathroom vents for spring cleaning with soap and brushes then rinse them off. The Nutone fan clips break after about 2 -3 years so i usually buy a new cover. But a few years ago, i just started repairing them with Nashua Aluminum foil tape and hot glue.

The foil tape is used to make a new clip to hold spring latch. The foil tape is cut into 1/4 inch pieces in 1 inch and 1/2 inch. The 1/2 inch is used to cover the adhesive side touching the spring latch. I place the spring latch back into position then tape over it with the foil tape. The tape adheres to the vent surface. Hot glue is used to reinforce the foil tape.

This DIY will last for years, and the spring latch will no longer fall off the vent cover. If your spring latch needs to be replaced, the foil and hot glue can be removed with a knife.

We have used these queen size (20×28 in ) gel fiber pillows for about 4 months and they are firm and provides well support. The filling can be reshaped and is very comfortable.

Taking out of the box, its packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. It inflates and fluffs to full size in about 10- 15 minutes by itself. We did fluff it for about 1 minute after taking it out of the bag. Our cat was the first to jump on and fall asleep on the new pillow. It easy supported the weight of our 10+ pound cat, even when stacked.

Its a comfortable pillow and offers good support and does not flatten like cotton or down filled pillows. The pillow filling does very little shifting.
