REVIEW / HOW TO: iGreely High Power Port (HPP) Connector Cables for Solar Panels / Blankets

If you bought a Gasless Generator with a High Power Port (HPP) solar input and dont know how to connect the red and black connector to your solar panel or blanket, you probably need to HPP connector cable. I bought and will review iGreely HPP – Y-Adapter to connector ( https://amzn.to/3y9vBqG ) and an HPP to 5.5 mm connector cable. ( https://amzn.to/3ktzK0B ).

In order to charge the Duracell Powerblock 500 with my existing Costco MASSIMO 100W solar blanket ( https://amzn.to/3s4a6nf ), I needed a iGreely 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC Female Power Plug Cable ( https://amzn.to/3ktzK0B ) to connect to the Duracell 500. I also bought a iGreely Y-Adapter to connect two 100 watt blankets to the HPP connector ( https://amzn.to/3y9vBqG ) . I have not tested it yet but will do so in the future.

II already own a Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) which I use every other day to work on my laptop in my car, or to play my Xbox in my car when I am waiting or parking. It charges great with the adapters provided by Massimo solar blanket ( https://amzn.to/3s4a6nf ).

The Duracell Powerblock 500 recharges fully on my porch in about 4-5 hours with 200W charge controller, 8-9 hours on my 100W solar panel. The 100W solar panel ( https://amzn.to/3s4a6nf ) needs a 2.1 MM DC connector / High Powe Port (HPP) adapter to 5 MM adaptor to charge the Duracell 500. iGreely 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC Female Power Plug Cable ( https://amzn.to/3ktzK0B )

UNBOXING: COSTCO DURACELL POWERBLOCK 500 – Gasless / Battery Generator

I was at Costco and bought this DURACELL PowerBlock 500. There are other similar sized 500Wh power stations online ( https://amzn.to/3EKdEQL ). This is an unboxing video of the Duracell Powerblock 500, a full review video will be coming up after I finish my testing, so like and subscribe!

This is the first time I seen a Duracell Power Block 500 in a Li-Ion format, as this one compact and only 10.6 lbs in weight. Before the Duracell PowerSource 660 ( https://amzn.to/3k7lZVm ) was sealed lead acid batteries and it was much heavier and larger.

One of the first things I noticed was the battery capacity rating. On the box it states 491Wh and on the Unit specs and User Manual it states MAX 478 Wh. Either way I will be running a real world load test on the Duracell Powerblock 500 in a few days to find out how useful this really is.

DURACELL PowerBlock 500 also has 110v/500W pure sine inverters with 3 outlets, USB A and C charging and a 12v power out. I got and reviewed a Jackery Explorer 240 – Power Station ( https://amzn.to/3DVeKHW ) in the past with a 240Wh Backup Lithium Battery power station with 110V/200W Pure Sine Wave AC inverter Outlet Solar Generator. This battery allows me to play my Xbox One S console game while traveling for up to 3.5 hours. I expect this Duracell 500 unit should last me about 6 hours or so.
In the video I got images of the stats for comparison and detailing.
