How to Repair Broken Zipper (Split / Separated )

My favorite travel pack / purse zipper broke. The zipper came undone and separated. Made a quick repair video of how to fix a separated zipper. You will need a pair of needle nose pliers or a multitool with needle nose pliers ( https://amzn.to/358gJH3 ). If the zipper is broken you may need a zipper repair kit ( https://amzn.to/2tbmZjX ).

Useful tools:
Zipper Repair Kit: https://amzn.to/2tbmZjX
Multi-tool with Pliers: https://amzn.to/358gJH3
Needle Nose Pliers: https://amzn.to/2Qvz9fA

If you zippered purse or jackets zipper does not close any more and just separate, the zipper may have worn and stretched. The two track guilds needs to be tightened. You can use a pair of needle nose pliers to VERY lightly clamp both wings of the zipper Too hard and the zipper may break Test out the zipper.

DIY: How to thread new laces into a drawstring Hoodie without a threader!

Quick video on how to thread new laces into your Hoodie. So you bought new hoodie laces ( https://amzn.to/2Q5GRxU ) to for your customize your new or favorite hoodie. Some people use para cord ( https://amzn.to/363UXp2 ) with with custom lace tips ( https://amzn.to/37iHSIS  ) . Or some people just buy a new hoodie ( https://amzn.to/2sjRSmp ). Btw, my Youtube vlogs and reviews may also have associated affiliate links to products that may earn from qualifying purchases.

What ever the case, some kits come with threader tools ( https://amzn.to/2EZYCs7 ) that make it very easy to install a new lace. If not you do not have a threader, I have been using a 12 inch skewers ( https://amzn.to/2MD8Wuh ) to push the new lace into the hoodie lace pathway or for threading other drawstring items. It only takes a couple of minutes, however the threader tool is still a lot easier.
