Simple, Safe, and Effective – My Review of the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller

First Impressions I bought this Ultrasonic Repeller because I needed a solution for mice and insects that didn’t involve poisons. The setup couldn’t be easier—it really is just “plug and play.” Once it’s in the wall outlet, it starts cycling through ultrasonic frequencies (20kHz-60kHz) designed to annoy pests into leaving.

Does It Work? Ultrasonic Repeller can be judged the effectiveness of this device by how annoying the sound is.

  • The “Silent” Mode (Mode 3): This is what I use 90% of the time. It is silent to me and my pets, which is great for peace of mind.
  • The “Audible” Modes (Modes 1 & 2): This is where I really see the power of the device. When I switch it to Mode 1, the sound is irritating even to human ears. If I walk into the garage and hear that high-pitched whine, I know it’s working. If it’s enough to make me want to leave the room, I can only imagine how much the mice hate it.

Versatility I appreciate that I can adjust the strength. With the Ultrasonic Repeller, i can use Mode 2 in the attic and crawlspace—areas I don’t visit often but need protection. It’s slightly audible to me, so I assume the pets hear it too, which is why I keep it out of the main living areas.

Conclusion If you have a slight pest problem and want to avoid pesticides, this Ultrasonic Repeller a solid investment. The ability to switch between a silent mode for daily use and a loud, aggressive mode for when you leave the house gives you the best of both worlds.

REVIEW: Zeppoli Classic Kitchen Towels – WATER TEST!

I recently got a set of the Zeppoli Classic Kitchen Towels because I was on the hunt for kitchen towels that were soft, durable, and wouldn’t scratch my dishes or pans. I also wanted something that would dry quickly and wouldn’t leave lint all over the place.

Right off the bat, I noticed how absorbent these Zeppoli towels are. It’s probably because of that herringbone design. I went with the white with blue stripes, and I think they look pretty classy in my kitchen. They’re also a good size – 14 by 25 inches. They’re big enough that I could even use them as placemats if I wanted to! I’m even thinking about cutting some of them down to make smaller towelettes or dish cloths.

The herringbone weave seems really well-stitched and sewn, and it’s great that I can just toss them in the washing machine and dryer. I tested out how much water one of the towels could soak up, and I was impressed. Plus, they don’t take up a lot of space, and they didn’t shrink at all after I washed them. I’m also happy knowing that by using these, I’ll be saving money on paper towels in the long run.

REVIEW: Petmate Top Entry Litter Box – Less Litter Mess!

Petmate Top Entry Cat Litter Box: Could This Be the End of Litter Mess?

I recently got the Petmate top entry cat litter box, and it honestly sounds like it could be a game-changer for keeping my floors cleaner. Its tall design, which seems great for giving cats some privacy, especially if they’re on the larger side. More importantly, it really seems to cut down on that annoying litter scatter.

Here’s what stood out to me:

  • The top-entry design looks like the key to minimizing tracking. The lid even has these little holes that are supposed to help the litter fall right back inside the box. Genius!
  • It seems pretty tall and spacious, which would be good for giving my cat some room and might even work if I ever get another furry friend.
  • I like that the lid is reinforced. My cat loves to jump on things, so a wobbly lid would be a disaster.
  • The fact that it’s made from durable plastic sounds good for easy cleaning – just a quick sweep with a dustpan and brush.
  • I placed it against a few walls really helps contain any stray bits of litter and prevent movement of the bin. That’s a good tip.

From what I saw, the top-entry design really does seem to work in keeping the litter inside where it belongs. The reviewer mentioned that most of the litter their cats kicked around ended up back in the box. Using a large scooper for cleaning broke the little hook for holding it broke after a week. That was a bummer.

Overall, the Petmate top entry cat litter box seems like a really great product for anyone tired of constantly sweeping up scattered litter. I’m definitely considering getting second for if i get a bigger house .
