Red Tiger 4K Dual Dashcam: A Detailed Look

I recently checked out the Red Tiger 4K dual dashcam ( https://amzn.to/3JSbdCB ) This dashcam is a new model that features both GPS and Wi-Fi, making it super convenient to download your footage without having to mess around with removing the memory card . It offers a wide field of view, recording in 4K resolution at the front and 1080p at the rea. Plus, it supports memory cards up to a whopping 256GB.

Pros:

Easy Installation: Setting it up seems pretty straightforward .
Intuitive Menu: The menu system is easy to use, with large, clearly labeled buttons .
GPS and Wi-Fi: The inclusion of GPS and Wi-Fi is a major .
Good Resolution: The video quality is sharp and clear .

Cons:

Weak Adhesive: The adhesive used for the rear camera isn’t the strongest .
Plastic Mounts: The mounts are made of plastic, which might not be as durable as other materials .
Short Rear Cable: The cable for the rear camera could be longer, potentially making installation tricky in some vehicles .


Installation How To :

First, you’ll need to mount the main camera and display unit .
Then, slide the GPS unit into its designated slot.
Use the provided plastic sheets to help you position everything correctly.
The rear camera mount uses 3M adhesive to stick it in place.
Plug the camera into your car’s 12-volt power supply.
Run the cable for the rear camera along the headliner of your car.
Finally, mount the rear camera, ideally above your license plate.

Overall:

The install was easy and the dash cam works well.
The package includes the main camera/display, the GPS unit, and those helpful plastic sheets for installation. There’s a dedicated slot on the camera for the GPS.
The camera gets its power from a 12-volt USB connection.
I had to make a custom bracket to mount the camera on the back window of their trunk.
They used double-sided tape to attach the camera to the window.
Its been working well!

The Fake Ivy Fence coverings ( https://amzn.to/3nzM0kV ) will block line of sight and is dense enough hide my trash bins and looks better than just using mesh covering. I plan to add a combination of ivy and mesh to make the fence and back yard space more private.

I like how the ivy fence is green and the leaves look real enough when 10 feet away. I have real ivy but done want to have to maintain it on the fence.

Overall I love it. We will see how long the ivy lasts.

I love my windows to bring light into my living room every morning. I just put in SwitchBot motors onto my blinds to have the blinds open on a schedule. I got the Switchbot Blind ( https://amzn.to/3FZz6mD) that mounts a motor onto the blinds stick. Super easy to install and setup. Just clip on the mount and stick the motor onto the blind’s rail.

It has a Solar panel that mounts onto the window, but since I get indirect sunlight I find if faster to just charge it with a USB C cable and a Charger.
Overall I love it. The blinds open and close every morning.
