It is an self sticking adhesive foam tape for automotive applications but I always keep a roll handy for other projects that rely need good adhesion. It can be used for car interior trim panels, body side molding, emblems and mounting other light duty items.

I also use 3M Automotive Super Strength Molding Tape ( https://amzn.to/3o9hNYs ) for lowering noisy or creaky car panel trim in the car.
Quick Tip: I store this tape in a zip lock bag so it does not dry out and to keep the sides from getting dusty.

3M Automotive Super Strength Molding Tape ( https://amzn.to/3o9hNYs ) adhesive is highly heat resistant compared to other household foam tape. And is better for mounting car accessories such as car lighting strips in the interior of my car. The original adhesive released after about 2 months while my car was baking during the summer time. Its more stretchy and tacky compared to white foam tape which makes it more flexible and easier to use in many applications.

Here I used it to put a LED light strip into in the foot wells of my car and the glove box for more lighting. I have also used if for mounting dash cams and other car parts. This Viden Car LED lights with remote and powered by USB : (https://amzn.to/3uaLFVj ) glue released after 2 months, fixed with 3M molding tape.

Overall, 3M Automotive Super Strength Molding Tape ( https://amzn.to/3o9hNYs ) great foam tape to have around the house and the garage for diy projects and repair work.

REVIEW: KOGODA 13.3 Inch Portable Monitor – USB-C and HDMI

If you need more desktop space with traveling, and dont want to haul a large monitor then this video is for you. I am reviewing a KOGODA 13.3 inch 1080P Monitor with USB C and HDMI ( https://amzn.to/3kakZAG ) for my travels and remote working. This is also good for in car entertainment. There are larger sizes displays ini 15 and 16 inches ( https://amzn.to/3lmzKj1 ) however I prefer the 13 is a good compact size can be placed in my laptop bag with my laptop as an external monitor when traveling.

The 13.3 Inch External Monitor is an IPS Full HD 1080P external laptop monitor. It has USB C inputs for late model smart phones and laptops to use as an external monitor. It has a mini HDMI input. Connection is fast and easy and starts up in less a few seconds. Simply connect the USB power and one of the signal cables.

Its powered by USB C 5 volt at 1.5 – 2A. It comes with a wall power supply, but many USB chargers can output 2A now and so can my car’s built in USB charge port. Getting a 12v socket charge port is easy I use a Anker car charger ( https://amzn.to/3CaPkVS ).

It comes with a plastic cover and fold out stand. The cover is held by magnets so you may want to be careful when handling magnetic hard drives, credit cards, and other sensitive items.

I normally work in my car with my laptop or smart phone so if you are planning to use a bigger screen this is also helpful. You can of course watch movies with this display. It is bright enough to use when the car is parked in the shade or in the sun.

You can use it with your smart phone, laptop, or portable video game system with USB-C output or such as Xbox, or with HDMI out. It is extremely compact so you can take it with you as you travel!

Overall it has been a great addition to my mobile work space with my smart phone and laptop. It is also a very good entertainment while parked for watching movies or playing video games on a larger display. I just set it on my dash board and play a movie while waiting an hour for my car to charge or when waiting in the car. It doesnt require taking apart the car or voiding any warranties. It also uses very little energy so it doesnt impact my car battery much.

REVIEW: USB C – AA and AAA Lithium ion Rechargeable Batteries

I been wanting Lithium ion Rechargeable Battery in AA and AAA size ( https://amzn.to/2VsisrX ) that can be recharged by USB cable. I finally got a set of AA and AAA for fun. This is a good idea for traveling light or to avoid bringing a large charger with you on vacation trip.

Lithium ion Rechargeable Battery in AA and AAA size ( https://amzn.to/2VsisrX ) takes about 1 hour to charge from USB C cable. The out put is 1.5 volts. The capacity is rated in mWh rather than mAh, that beening said when caluculating the conversion. the AA battery has a capacity of 1733 mAh and the AA has a capacity of 367 mAh. Much less than my Nimh batteries.

Overall it works and is portable enough to carry the charge cable and spare batteries on a trip or if you ran out of power and needed to charge via usb this would be very convenient, even with less capacity than my 2000 mAh NimH batteries.
