REVIEW: Metal Mesh Watch Bands (20mm) for my Samsung WATCH 4

I finally got my Samsung Watch 4 (https://amzn.to/3afOZsv) its very convenient for health tracking, messaging, and fitness with my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 phone. I didnt like styling of the included silicone watch band and wanted to change it to a stainless steel mesh watch band to match the watch. I bought three metal mesh bands from Amazon to test out.

I like mesh bands and have worn metal mesh bands for my watches since my Skagen minimalistic watches https://amzn.to/3nHWRX6 that I wore since college. I wanted to replicate that on my new Samsung Watch 4.

The EACHE Stainless Steel Mesh Watch Band (https://amzn.to/3yKHtzt )
is one of the best ones of the three with a simple to use bracelet wrist band that expand and slides off your wrist. The locking mechanism is easy to adjust without tools. The finish of the mesh is really fine and not as shiny as the other brands, but matchs the Samsung Watch 4 siliver casing closest. This is my primary pick for a 20 mm metal mesh wrist band.

The BERNY Milanese Stainless Steel Mesh Watch Band (https://amzn.to/3ut9FnJ) is also a very good watch band with a quick release clasp. The mechanism is very similar to the Skagen locking clasp which I love. Adjustment of the wrist size will need a small stick or paper clip to unlock the latch. The mesh pattern is a little longer grains so it reflects more light making the chrome more brilliant. This is my second pick especially if you want the higher mesh shine.

Lastly is the ORIbox Thin Mesh Watch band (https://amzn.to/3yh2kcg). This thin watch band tapers after the mount point. So it makes the watch look lighter. This is good if you have a smaller 40 mm watch, but kind of strange for a 44mm and larger watch unless you have really small wrists.
The locking mechanism is also difficult to latch as I find it hard to direct the end of the band into the buckle.

Overall I kept the EACHE Stainless Steel Mesh Watch Band (https://amzn.to/3yKHtzt ) and BERNY Milanese Stainless Steel Mesh Watch Band (https://amzn.to/3ut9FnJ) as both are easy to use. They both also have quick release spring bars if I wanted to swap styles.

HOW TO: Wash Car using CORDLESS PRESSURE WASHER & LEAF BLOWER

I got a Cordless Portable Pressure Washer ( https://amzn.to/3NlJ2Zs ) and a Cordless Leaf Blower 130MPH Electric Leaf Blower ( https://amzn.to/3NBjl6l ) because I love regularly washing my car and things around my house and my cars. I didnt want to use my 1600 psi corded pressure washer as washing my car was pretty fast. I also didnt want to have to take and clean the pressure washer afterward. This cordless one is super easy to clean and maintain.

The Cordless Leaf Blower 130MPH Electric Leaf Blower ( https://amzn.to/3NBjl6l ) is used for drying the car. Especially to blow out the water in the fenders, logos, door handles and wheels. I also use it to and to blow clean my drive way and porch. I found that the 20V battery fits my Cordless Portable Pressure Washer ( https://amzn.to/3NlJ2Zs ) With both tools, washing my car has been fun without dragging out power cords.

The Cordless Leaf Blower 130MPH Electric Leaf Blower ( https://amzn.to/3NBjl6l ) is simple lightweight cordless leaf blower with two batteries. It has good blow power with 2 speeds. I leave it on HIGH. I am using it to clean my walkways and drive ways without using water hose or a broom. I also use it to blow off the water off my car after a carwash. Pretty useful. Another perk is that it uses pretty generic “power share” 20v-21v batteries.

Overall it has been super convenient to use a cordless pressure waser and leaf blower system for fast car washes using a bucket water system. I want to convert the cordless to use a garden hose soon.

HOW TO: Extend Rear Pant Pockets Using a Sewing Machine.

We are going to extend the length of rear pant pockets in this video. New large cell phones no longer fit inside a standard rear pant pocket without sticking out. Womans pant pockets are even smaller! My mom and I will be using my Brother CS7000i Sewing Machine (https://amzn.to/3E7TWfQ ).

Costco has the Weatherproof Vintage Weather-Flex Pants ( https://amzn.to/3QwggqR ) which I loved the fit and stretch. So I bought 5 pairs with a longer length to use the extra length material to extend the rear pockets.

We used about 3 inches to extend 1.5 inches of the rear pocket.
You will need a sewing machine, we use a Brother CS7000i Sewing Machine (https://amzn.to/3E7TWfQ ) for 90% of all our sewing. You will also need a dethreader or thread ripper. Previously we made a How to hem your pants video. I really love my Brother CS7000i Sewing Machine (https://amzn.to/3E7TWfQ ). I use it much more than my Singer 4322 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine ( https://amzn.to/3C8Xjmw ) which we use for heavy materials.

  1. After dethreading inch of the rear pocket, you also need to dethread the hem of the pocket. Be sure to remove all the loose thread.
  2. We measured and cut about 3 inches of material off the leg length
  3. The extension piece was cut to the shape of the pocket to continue the pattern.
  4. We attached the extension onto the rear pocket
  5. We then sewed the the sides and reinforced edge of the pocket.
  6. we finished with heming the pant legs.

Stuff in this video:
Weatherproof Vintage Weather-Flex Pants ( https://amzn.to/3QwggqR )
Brother CS7000i Sewing Machine (https://amzn.to/3E7TWfQ )
La Canilla Sewing Machine Carrying Case ( https://amzn.to/3dXIWqQ )

Overall I love my new new pants with extended rear pockets, my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra actually confidently fits in the pocket.
