DIY: Dad Made – REBAR WEED PULLER – Gardening.

I was visiting my parents and helping them tend their garden. I found they made a weed puller out of rebar metal. My dad twisted a bar rebar ( https://amzn.to/2SopN69 ) into a hook and welded 2 cut pieces to the other end like a fork. There are similar and more advanced weed pullers on sale online: https://amzn.to/31weugm . We grow Goji berries ( https://amzn.to/2uuh3U2 ) , flowers ( https://amzn.to/3bc3V6C ) , herbs ( https://amzn.to/2tCaqPj ) and vegetables ( https://amzn.to/377fDfJ ) in our victory garden. Mainly from seeds that we sow late winter. Some grow in our alley like our cherry tomatoes ( https://amzn.to/2Ux5xSt ).

REVIEW Costco! Capstone LED Accent Light Bars 4 PK ( 1 YEAR LATER ) UNBOXING

I got these Costco Capstone LED Accent Light Bars in a 4 PK for $24 a year ago. I just bought another set, so I am doing a long term review and unboxing of a new set. There are other similar LED accent lights online ( https://amzn.to/2JA8w58 ).

The nice features of these LED bar accent under cabinet lights is the shape, height and size to fit in narrow locations. It can be operated by a included remote. Its also convenient if you only use these accent light occasionally as they are battery powered and do not require running and hiding power cables. You just need to remember to check the batteries every couple of months. The remote is able to control dimming and all 4 lights simultaneously up to 20 units, as long as it can the IR remote commands. Each light has its own manual power switch if needed. The light itself is really diffuse with the demo unit at Costco.

For under cabinet lights, I personally preferred a wired solution as I depend on under cabinet light in my kitchen, garage, and work spaces. I rather have a USB or low voltage wired versions ( https://amzn.to/2JCYnos ). As I dont like to deal with wasting dry cell batteries.

Weather Proofing my indoor BR30 flood lights with Flex Seal! (Experiment)

I wanted to use my indoor BR30 flood lights out doors by weather proof with Flex Seal! This is an experiment so DO NOT do this at home. Better to go buy some outdoor flood lights like PAR38 ( https://amzn.to/2QiQKHr ).

I am doing this because Ibought too many BR30 lights and a got a few cans of Flex Seal ( https://amzn.to/2QmlIhI ) to play with. I also needed lighting in my back year in a covered patio that is outdoor but covered under the eaves of the roof. I tried this before with Plastidip in my other video: https://youtu.be/GbD2Y97QlHQ and it still working.

Flex Seal Spray Rubber Sealant Coating: https://amzn.to/2Mr5MJW
LED Outdoor Flood Lights PAR38 : https://amzn.to/2QiQKHr
LED Indoor Flood Lights BR30 : https://amzn.to/39gN2Hd
Plastidip Spray Rubber: https://amzn.to/2Znz8ON

The FlexSeal clear rubber spray is very thick. Its much thicker and more permanent than Plastidip. One coat added about 1 mm or more of rubber to the base of the light bulb. So this was very quick and did not need multiple coats I had a box full of BR30 bulbs and decided i only need 2 bulbs to play with now. Overall this video was to compare Flexseal clear rubber spray with Plastidip clear rubber spray. Don’t expect to remove the FlexSeal rubber, its meant to be permanent, unlike Plastidip that was meant to be removed if needed. I tried this before with Plastidip in my other video: https://youtu.be/GbD2Y97QlHQ and it still working.
