HOW TO: PRIVACY SCREEN for BALCONY using Faux Ivy Privacy Screens

I got some Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP), so I can add some privacy to my balcony as well as hide the ugly white metal rails. With summer here, I wanted to clean up and get my porch and patio ready for guests!

My concrete patio looks grey. I been wanting to make it more green. In addition I wanted to cover up the white metal railings and add more privacy from my neighbors. Another benefit of adding Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP) was the added shade from the sun to reduce heat on the patio balcony.

The Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP) expanded to 4 x 8 ft panel but can also contract down. The trellis is made of wood sticks and mine had some flowers to make it look different than just green leaves.

I hung my panel with a S hook and then used the provided nylon zip ties to secure it to my railing. I am planning to get another set to place on both sides of the fence to make it denser and so it will cover the railing on both sides.

Overall Faux Ivy privacy screens ( https://amzn.to/3OHSPJP) is a good fast solution to add privacy to the balcony so when I have tea or exercise it its a little more private. I also enjoy the cooling effect from the shade.

REVIEW: Stage / Up Lights! 36 LED RGB Stage Party lights!

I got these Par Light, 36 LED RGB Stage Party Lights ( https://amzn.to/3iYhsUu ) to put background splash of color for my room curtains and for video work. They work well for that purpose, simple to use, and very light weight.

Note these 36 LED RGB Stage Party Lights ( https://amzn.to/3iYhsUu ) are 18 Watt RGB LEDs so they will not over power a brightly lit room. For parties, DJ setups, or for live streaming in a room they are fine. Very light weight plastic is mounted on a light weight metal bracket. They are a good value and will get the job done.

The 36 LED RGB Stage Party Lights ( https://amzn.to/3iYhsUu ) build quality is OK. In fact its pretty generic and rebranded. The packaging is cheap. It does not come with batteries for the remote. It needs a 2025 Cell battery. The lights can be controlled manually from the back of the unit.

It also has DMX controls ( I dont need to use it cuz i am just using it as solid color accent lighting ). The instructions is hard to understand as it is just a piece of paper with codes, but after experimenting and cycling through the modes its pretty straight forward.

36 LED RGB Stage Party Lights ( https://amzn.to/3iYhsUu )

PROS:
Works
Plastic Lightweight compact –
Only 18W per light at FULL Power, 9W-12W during other modes
Simple use for background color background
Set and power up with same settings

CONS;
Bright enough for dark rooms and accent lighting, at 18W don’t expect to over power 40W overhead lights. You will need something more powerful.
Super short power cable – about less than 2 ft
IR Remote is hard to control mode and color
Hard to see the code when setting
Bad instruction page.

TIPS:
Preset the light color from the back and turn off to save settings

Overall, the 36 LED RGB Stage Party Lights ( https://amzn.to/3iYhsUu ) is good for side DJ lighting, accent stage lighting, event color lighting, party lights, home studio, streaming, or photography. The 18w good amount of light, however if you want long throw of light you should get a higher wattage.

REVIEW: LISEN Car Back Seat TABLET HOLDER – V Mount

I got a LISEN Car Back Seat TABLET HOLDER ( https://amzn.to/35ZQ3OM ) so I can have another iPad or tablet installed in my rear seat of my car. This tablet holder was a v-mount and was more stable to vertical movement.

This can be setup in less than 2 minutes to start playing and is easily taken down when not in use. The hard plastic clip locks onto the front seat head rest posts. The legs can be extended to bring the tablet closer by a few inches. I was able to fit my ipad and 12 inch monitor with no problem.

My older adjustable large tablet articulating arm ( https://amzn.to/3hsutFm ) attaches to the passenger seat head rest posts so I can position the monitor right behind the seat or near the center of the spacious back seat to share with friends. The tilt of the monitor arm is adjustable as well.

Overall I see this as a fun project. It’s not a permanent addition to the car and is quick to setup and take down when you are finished. The mount works well even while the car is in motion.
