Life Hack: $1 Milk Tea Hack ( $1 Large Sweet Ice Tea + 5 Creamers ) YUM!

McDonald’s milk tea hack. i saw a video online and wanted to try this. i tried the adding 5 creamers to a large $1 McDonald’s sweet Tea. Is it worth it? It works and tastes pretty good! it works better if you ask them to be “easy on the ice” for more tea and ask for about 6 creamers. The sweet tea is plenty sweet.
Ofcourse you can always just make your own with milk tea powder : https://amzn.to/2tDbt1g

Costco! ( 干 海参 ) Dried Atlantic Sea Cucumbers – 1 lb – $44.99 – UNBOXING 乾 海參

Costco has Dried Atlantic Sea Cucumbers for $44.99 a pound. I bought a bag to try out. There are similar dried sea cucumbers sold online: https://amzn.to/2S2G8xt . The cost vary from $50 to $100 a pound. Really expensive dried seafood.

I only tried this in Chinese seafood restaurants and seen frozen and dried versions in Chinese and Asian Supermarkets. In the video you can see the dried sea cucumbers are about 2.5 to 3 inches in length dehydrated. After soaking it for a few days we will compare the size. At $45 a pound I want to try this out at home.

How to cook Dried Sea Cucumber.
The instructions to cook this is was simple enough as follows:

  1. Soak for 3-4 days in cold water in the refrigeration.
  2. Replace the water every day.
  3. Cook in boiling water for 30 minutes until soft.

So I am going to try it and do a review of the process and flavor in a few days. So stay tuned.

Costco! Melora Manuka Honey – 500g – 10+ UMF – $31.99

Costco just restocked Melora New Zealand 10+ UMF Manuka honey on sale! The Melora Manuka Honey is 10+ UMF + (1.1 lb or 500g ) are all priced at $31.99! They are similarly priced at on Amazon ( https://amzn.to/2tgjLZj ) for Melora. I current eat about 1 to 3 jars of Manuka honey every year and found I prefer 10+ UMF honey more as it has a good balance of rich sweet flavor, aroma, and texture. I noticed that the higher the UMF the denser the honey and flavor. 10+ was a good balance.

I bought a lot of Manuka honey over the years, most have been from Costco and Amazon. I made a taste test video prior.
