I have been using Eneloop Nimh batteries (https://amzn.to/2BVhCtL )and my Foxnovo F08 ( http://amzn.to/2E5YDMZ )for about 3 years for my LED flashlights and Xbox controllers!  The Eneloops last about 3 years of daily use and recharge, before you have buy new ones. I got these at Costco for about $20.    Pretty impressive and it saves money on all the Alkaline batteries.
