5 Years ago we wanted to update the style of our bathroom trim and bought the Pfister Universal Tub and Shower Trim ( https://amzn.to/3HxzXt0 ). It replaced our old worn and discolored 1980s gold trim with chrome trim in about 20 minutes with just a screw driver. No plumbing or tiling work needed.

It was to match our newly installed bathroom chrome faucets and hardware. Pfister Universal Tub and Shower Trim ( https://amzn.to/3HxzXt0 ), chrome has been durable and resistant to water spots. Installation was extremely easy to remove the old Delta trim and swap with this universal kit. It completely modernized our 20 year old bath room. The tub and shower kit came with the shower handle and trim, tub spout, and shower arm and shower head, and tub plate.
Some nice detailing of this kit was the Tub spout which has a diffuser and a stopper gasket. The stopper gasket prevents the metal to metal “clink” noise.
Overall if you are looking to update the look and style of your shower and tub quickly and easily, a universal trim kit is a great and simple solution.
